色が派手
このオレンジ色は派手過ぎて好きじゃないですが、USB3のポータブルHDDとしては優秀な性能と安定性だと思います。USB-Cモデルもありましたが安いのでMicro-Bモデルを選択。LaCieはいくつか持っていますが、接続や取り外し時の挙動もスムーズなので使いやすいHDDです。もう少し落ち着いた色が欲しい。

いまのところ一度も壊れてない安心できるメーカー
急ぎでデータを移動させる必要があり購入。以前国産のバッ●ァローで2年たたないうちに使えなくなった経験から乗り換えたラシー。その後約15年安全に使用しています（複数台をつかってて、数年で新しいものと入れ替えしながら使っているので15年続けで使っているということではなく）デザインも他社と大きく差別化できていて好きなブランドです

Macと相性良い
個人的経験では、LacieはMacとの相性が良い気がする。安物を購入して痛い目にあったこと数回、初めからコレにすれば良かった。一年と3ヶ月間の使用で、安定しており不安も問題もない。同時期に買った他メーカーのものが壊れたので、Time Machine用に２台目をリピート。派手な色が好みとはいかないが、本体保護できるのは自分の使い方の場合嬉しい。ちなみに、値段は前回より少し上がってしまった。

グッド。頑丈。かわいい。
安定のLaCied2発売当時から、愛用しています。まあまあヘビーユーザーなので、HDDクラッシュも何度か経験ありますが、LaCieはほんと壊れない。ラバー素材のカバーも安心感あるんですよね。デスクに置いてもつるつるすべらないし。

Macのタイムマシン用として最適です
Macのタイムマシン用として購入しました。USB3.0で接続すると、転送速度が速くて快適です。また、耐落下性や耐衝撃性、耐雨性などの機能があるので、持ち運びにも安心です。デザインもオレンジ色のゴム製のケースが目を引きます。付属のケーブルもしっかりしていて、長さも十分です。初期設定も簡単でした。Macに接続すると、タイムマシン用にフォーマットするかどうかのメッセージが出ます。そのままフォーマットすれば、すぐにバックアップが始まります。バックアップ中も静かで、発熱も少ないです。容量も4TBとたっぷりあるので、長く使えそうです。このハードディスクは、Macのタイムマシン用として最適だと思います。価格も手頃で、品質も高いです。Macユーザーにはおすすめの商品です。

This will fail you. Don't buy it!
The machine failed after about 1 month's use. I sent it back and its came back to me as a "certified repair" Within the last 10 months it has totally failed. I used it about 5 times during that time. I have consigned to the garbage now where it seems perfectly at home. You may ask, "Why didn't you send it back again?" And I would reply, "Because I don't want it to be returned to me again as a "certified repair." LaCie STJJ5000400 Portable Hard Drive, 5TB Rugged Mini USB 3.0 is a heap of junk. I will NEVER use this company again. I would give zero stars if it was possible.
