Perfect for John Deere LT166
My mower recently died while I was in the middle of mowing. Seemed to be a fuel issue because after sitting, engine would fire momentarily then stumble and die. I could see it wasn't really pulling hardly any fuel into the clear plastic fuel filter. I assumed it was the pump. Ordered this one and delivery was fast. However, once I installed it I had the same issue. I ended up removing the air filter assembly so I could get a look at the carb. I gave the carb a couple of whacks with the handle of my screwdriver then cranked it up! I'm not 100% sure but I think I probably just had a stuck needle and seat. But now I've got a new pump on the mower and all is well. Fits just life the old one.
