Did you know this stuff helps with motion sickness?!My uncle, who’s in the medical profession, turns me onto this. Apparently this is something our body makes naturally, but if we have low amounts of it, we can get motion sick easier.Generally, I have to take two motion, sick pills every six hours on a cruise. I tried this out and was able to take a one week cruise by taking two of these three times a day!They work for my teenager daughter as well and she gets more motion sick than I do.They work amazing, I don’t get that sleepiness like I do with other emotion, sick pills, there’s no aftertaste and it doesn’t affect my mood like motion sick pills do either.

I believe this does something to temper my chronic anxiety. Having read so much about the deleterious effects of prescription anxiolytics, I weaned myself from them last fall (not the easiest thing to do). It's been tough finding anything sold OTC to replace it. I've been taking ashwaganhda and lemon balm, both of which help, but having read a bit about Pharma GABA I decided to give it a try. It's nowhere near as strong as anything your doctor might give you, but it does seem to help.Word to the wise. Most GABA supplements (so named) do not effectively cross the blood-brain barrier (a network of capillaries in the brain arrayed to filter out substances that might do harm to your brain and nervous system), at least not in sufficient quantities to make a difference. Pharma GABA is reputed to cross this barrier. I've been taking this for a only a short while, but I do believe it is helping.Parting word: This is generally well tolerated. However, given its involvement with the brain and nervous system, it merits mentioning to the doctor.

Initially when I used this product, I took just one pill. The serving size is 2. I was pretty calm when I tested it. Therefore did not notice anything.I tested it again later a couple of times, an hour or two before an app that made me anxious (took 2 pills each time). Not sure if it's the placebo effect but felt that my anxiety decreased.If it was not the placebo effect, this was helpful & will continue using when I start feeling anxious.Good luck.I
