False Marketing Regarding Size, Great for a Side-of-hot tub Cold Plunge
UPDATE: Now that I've had this awhile and have found a good use for it, I'm updating to 3 stars. All the below is true. AND, It is perfect for a cold plunge tub, right next to the hot tub. Although you can't really sit in it, you can stand then squat and dunk yourself in the cold water, then go back into the hot tub. Very refreshing. This tub is decent quality for the price, but an adult cannot sit in it as shown in the marketing picture. The other issue is that it is difficult to fill with air. Even though it comes with a cheap little pump, and you would expect the valve to be the type that holds air when you pull out the connector, it doesn't. So you have to be really quick after filling the air to close the valve, which is clumsy and takes time to push in, letting the air escape. Took me three tries and it's still a bit softer than I'd like. Also comes with a tiny pillow, a thin mat to put under it, and a decent carrying case. Because it is actually functional, I'm giving it two stars. But if you want to sit in a cold/hot tub, buy a bigger one. I'm 5'10", note in the picture where it comes up. Not even to the waist.

INFLATABLE PORTABLE BATHTUB - ORDERED TWICE - BOTH TIMES THE AIR PUMP STOPPED WORKING
I ordered the Inflatable Portable Bathtub ( IPB for short ) in the color green on 04/22/25. When it arrived I opened up the box to find out they sent me the IPB in pink (on the box it say's green). Even so I figured I might as well try it out. The enclosed instructions that came with the IPB are in Chinese. So I spread out the IPB in my spare bathroom and hooked up the pump. The IPB was about 1/2 way inflated (about 1 minute) when I heard a popping sound. I noticed the the air pump stopped working and smelled like burnt plastic. So I asked Amazon to send a replacement. The replacement arrived on 04/27/25. I did the same thing with the replacement (which was pink again instead of green) and started to pump it up. About 1 minute later the same thing happened as before, I heard a popping noise and the air pump stopped working and smelled like burnt plastic. The air pump is very cheap looking and all plastic very light. I WOULD NOT recommend this Inflatable Portable Bathtub, I would give it zero stars if I could do so.

Don't waste your money! Cheap and small!
The inflatable bathtub did not meet my expectations for a soaking tub. I found the tub to be very small and nearly impossible to fit in. You need to be a really small person to even fit in it let alone soak in it. You need to place it in your shower and fill it with hot water. It’s hard to get the desired temperature and keep it that hot for any length of time. My wife who is much smaller even had a difficult time fitting in the tub. The water did not stay warm long either. The reason you need to fill it up in the shower is because the drain valve is in the bottom of the tub and it needs to drain there to keep the place dry. So basically you have to use it in the shower because you couldn't move it after filling it. The tub is only 35” in diameter and stands 27” tall. I just didn’t think it was very good. The pillow wouldn’t even blow up and the air closing tip was installed wrong and didn’t fit, no air went in. The small cover was weird and you needed to put your arms and head through it. The hood was super small. Again a man would not fit in this and the person needs to be small in stature. It did come with an electric pump which was the only positive I have for the item. It doesn't seem very durable , since it is flimsy so it's quite expensive for the cheap quality.

Cool Tub
It was easy to set up. It’s deeper than an average bathtub so I was able to actually sit down and have the water cover my shoulders, which made it so relaxing.

Keeps water temp, inflating finicky, topper useless for us shorties, good padded bottom
With this you get the tub, a draw string storage bag, the air pump, a blow-up pillow, and a topper/lid with hands & head hole with draw string hood. The only instructions included are for the pump and they are in simplified Chinese. The topper is soft and floppy (feels like light weight tent material) with a zipper. The edging was a little sloppy on the hand holes. The tub itself (think nice quality pool float) was put together well with no holes or bad seams. The pump is plasticy and lightweight and has three size nozzles with a very short cord. This tub inflates in less than 1 minute! The trick is there are two closures. Use the largest opening to fill the tub with the pump. When it is done, act fast- push in the first stopper. You will lose some air, but it’s got a oneway valve to stop it. Now the pump nozzles will not fit into this, so you have to hold the pump in place while it fills up the last bit. It is finicky. Then push in the last stopper. I think they should include a nozzle that fits into the one way valve and then you can avoid the whole mess. The L drain on the bottom points to under the tub and you must use the telescope drain hose provided to drain the tub. Getting the elastic of the cover around the inflated tub took some time and nearly three hands. However, I am much too short (5’2”) to even use it when I sit in the tub. The large hole on the blow up pillow makes it extremely difficult to inflate and close without losing the air. It doesn't have a suction cup on it. I found it pretty much useless anyway especially since the top of the tub hits me at my eyeballs so I just leaned against the sides. The tub just fits into my tiny little shower. It took 20 minutes fill it with water due to only having a shower head to do so. I filled it enough I could submerge up to my shoulders when inside. The measurements on the listing are backwards. The top is 35 in across while the side is 27 in tall. I have a 30 in inseam- getting in and out of this takes some finesse especially when it's inside my shower which is slightly lifted. Then when I need to get out, I have to pull the plug in the bottom, pole-vault/quickly slither out of it while tryin to not maim myself, grab the drain hose and pick up the very heavy full tub, and shove it underneath to try to drain into the drain hole in the middle of my shower. This would work better in a larger tub where you can angle the drainage hose towards the drain and not under the tub. I tried to put the drain in place before I filled it up all the way, but then I’d have to have a drain hose lump under my rear. It's got a cushioned bottom that is nice to sit on while you soak. I found this tub to very relaxing. It was so nice to have a soak after a workout. I would not recommend using products in this tub. I was surprised that even without the topper the tub kept my water very warm for 45 minutes. When I got out, it was still perfectly warm enough to chill for longer if I had wished to do so. After draining, I turned it upside down to let it dry out. The next morning it was good to go and I deflated it using the reverse on the pump to suck all the air out allowing a compact roll down and into the storage bag it went. I think this is great for those of us without a tub. It is nice and deep for a soak. I think larger humans or those with leg length might have a hard time fitting. You’ll need some torso length to use the topper.
