I have an earlier (2024) version of this, and liked it so much that I ordered this one for another TV. Works best with Samsung TVs, to take advantage of Samsung' "Q-Symphony" function, which outputs audio from both the TV and the soundbar, but it'll work with any newer TV. (Use a high-quality HDMI cable (supplied) and the "eARC" output of your TV for best quality audio.) Very easy to set up. Great sound, customizable to your listening preferences. Strong subwoofer bass response. You can add rear speakers as well, for true surround sound. This is a high-quality soundbar. Until you try it, your won't know what they're missing.

I had an older Samsung surround sound system, and I just always had issues with dialog. This system was highly recommended, and several professional reviews had nothing but good things to say about it. So I went for it, and I am so glad that I did. Dialog is incredibly clear, setup easy, surround performance is awesome. If you're looking for a quality surround sound system then read the reviews on this one.

This product performs superably. The clarity and acoustic detail is amazing. This set up was absolutely easy. I replaced a Samsung B650 sound bar with this Q990 F. Although the B650 performed really well The 990 F is in a different league.

Excellent product and company. The bass from the subwoofer is impactful. The sound is dynamic, particularly on media produced with Dolby Atmos. I was a bit concerned that the surround sound experience would be lacking with media that is not made for surround sound, but the AI does a good job of utilizing all of the speakers. Rear speaker night mode is awesome. It's great to be able to choose where the sound is coming from. Whether it be at the front of the room with the tv speakers, just the soundbar, just the rear speakers, a combination of soundbar + rear, or all speakers at once with Q Sypmhony, you can put the sound where you are. It was extremely easy to use and set this system up. The app was equally easy to use and install. The remote control is slim and does what it needs to do. I do wish they incorporated the solar panel rechargeable battery that their TVs receive, but it's no big deal. I have triple A batteries. I use the app on my phone for most adjustment anyways, it's a great app. Compared to older systems which had a bunch of wires connecting all of the speakers, this is is just insanely minimalistic. I love it. 4 power chords and an HDMI are much more manageable. Great system over all. I haven't even put the volume past 30 (out of 100) and my gf is concerned that the ground is shaking haha.

Sound bar had defect. There is bulge in the plastic. Apparently Amazon AI to return for damaged product is not responding.

I was very pleased with the price and quality of the renewed version of the Samsung Q800F soundbar. I've connected this to a 2024 Samsung S90D TV and there is no comparison to the TV alone sound. Set up was very smooth including adding two rear Samsung speakers, sound is great, and it looks nice (mine is on a stand with DVD Player, power management) and not hung on a wall. It would look very good on a wall, too, but I haven't tested wireless features. While not as good as my previous 5.2 full size system this is less than 1/3 the price, looks much nicer in my now smaller space, it provides very good sound for movies and concerts. I will try for basic music though tend to listen to that in more traditional two-speaker stereo. Overall, I'm very pleased with ease of use and appearance, which was most important to my partner. The Alexa and Roku integration make it very easy for her to turn on, off and operate for most needs.

Great update from our previous soundbar. It’s works seamlessly with our Samsung TV (2025 model) and requires minimal effort in connecting. Sound quality is 10/10!
