This is the second time I've purchased this cup. I had this brand cup for my first son and repurchased it again for my second. I spent a crazy amount of time researching cups to transition to from a bottle with my first and this was by far one of the best options that I found. Is it perfect? No. But it comes pretty darn close. One of the features that I liked most was the free flowing straw. My son doesn't have to bite the straw to release the liquid. As adults we don't do that, so I didn't want him to learn that was the proper way to use a straw. However, because of that this is not a leak proof cup. If you're looking for leak proof - keep it moving. Haha. The cup is a bit transparent. I can see exactly how much liquid is inside the cup without having to open it. As an added bonus, the cup has oz measurement markings on the cup. The cup has a nice weight to it, but not so heavy that it's a chore for my sons to pick it up to drink from. Size is perfect for little baby/toddler hands to hold. The biggest drawbacks for me, were it's size and price. I wish that the cup was larger than 5oz. And since it is on the smaller size, I wish the price was not as steep. Overall, pretty decent cup... Enough so, that I purchased twice.

Loved it! And the color is really nice. I also like that if the cup drops there’s no spill! Will be ordering the pink one as well 😊

I spent way too much time researching baby cups and ultimately chose this one after my friend recommended it. Overall I like it, but there's room for improvement. Pros: -Easy for my 8 month old to drink out of! We had tried several other cups with minimal success. -Easy to wash and they include a straw brush. -The straw has a stopper part way down so the baby can't pull it out. I've had other straw cups with a stopper at the bottom of the straw, those are still a hassle bc the child can pull it out almost all the way to play with and then the bottom of the straw is above the level of the liquid. The Olababy straw has the stopper about 2 inches up from the bottom so it keeps the straw at exactly the right spot, with the bottom of the straw at the bottom of the cup. -No sweating bc of the silicone, nice! Sweaty cups just are hard for little hands to hold onto and make an even bigger mess. -Sides are straight, but the grippy silicone means baby cup straps been still be used with it. -This silicone doesn't seem to attract hair and lint as badly as many. -Small capacity. My baby is drinking at most one ounce at a time and doesn't need an 8 oz cup. 4 oz will be great for several more months. Cons: -You can only wash this with unscented soap or else your poor child will be drinking Palmolive flavored water forevermore. I use plain Dr Bronner's. -Even with unscented soap, the cup will still make the water taste weird within about half an hour. I worry about stuff leaching into the water if odd flavors leach into it. This means this is a cup I will only use at meal times and store empty in the diaper bag. Having to bring a separate bottle of water to fill the baby's cup is kind of obnoxious. -No cap! This means it can't be stored cleanly in the diaper bag. I either need to accept the straw will possibly get dirty, or store it in a wet bag, which again, is just kind of obnoxious. -The cap can pop off if the sides of the cup are squeezed bc the silicone flexes. It's game over if the baby figures this out but the cup isn't super squishy and I feel like as long as no one shows my baby how to do this, she won't figure it out for a while. They could have put a ring of plastic around the top inside of the cup to give it more rigidity so this wouldn't happen. I know people are all excited about no plastic in baby cups, but the ring would only need to be in contact with the sides of the lid, not the water. So all in all, I like this cup and would recommend it. A few tweaks would make it absolutely perfect: a stainless steel interior so nothing leaches into the water, a cap that doesn't pop off (incidentally, The stainless steel interior would take care of that issue), and a cap would make this completely perfect.

My daughter is 7 months and she learned how to suck out of the strew in seconds! This cup fits perfectly in her little hands and is so easy to use! Definitely recommend!!
