Wheeled spreaders have to be the most overpriced things in the universe. This thing is mostly plastic and flimsy and rickety. Had to buy silicone grease to lube the components. Main reason I bought the Scott’s is because it has a nicer slot opening dial than the Gardena. But sheesh, probably costs $30 to manufacture. At least it’s lightweight.

使ってみて分かった事として、全てがプラスチック素材なので揺れが激しいこと、バケツが浅いのでバケツ外に肥料が飛び散ってしまうこと等、良いものを使った後では文句は付けたくなりますが、やはり値段が安いことが一番です。それに全く使えない、と言うわけでもありません。大事に使えばそれなりには持つのでは、と期待はしています。

写真の金具が同梱されていましたが、何の金具ですか？

I bought this to spread salt across my driveway, which runs over 50' to the garage at the back of the lot. This works a million times better than my old bucket and margarine container process which tended to result in thick streaks of salt and large missed gaps. I have found that the bags of salt are not consistent when it comes to individual salt size; some are fairly small, others are fairly big, which means that I find myself adjusting the spreader a lot. I've also found that salt often plugs the door and continues to drop even when I've let go of the trigger; although this hasn't really been a problem per se, and I suspect it has a lot to do with the fact that the salt is cubes and therefore doesn't really roll out as easily as proper fertilizer would.

Had one before. Just needed a new one. Works perfectly.
