My Truck Now Speaks Fluent Oil (And It's Complaining Less)
2023 3.0L Duramax Okay, so I bought this ACDelco dexosD™ 0W-20 Diesel Motor Oil, six quarts of it, because apparently my truck's internal organs are picky about their smoothies. Let's be real, I know as much about oil viscosity as I do about interpretive dance, but the internet told me this was the good stuff. First off, six quarts. SIX. That's like a small swimming pool for my engine. I half expected my truck to start doing the backstroke. I poured it in, and honestly, nothing dramatic happened. No fireworks, no angels singing, just… oil. But here's the weird part: my truck seems… happier? It's like it went to a spa day. The usual grumbling and "I'm-about-to-fall-apart" noises have been replaced with a gentle purr, like a diesel kitten. I'm starting to suspect this oil isn't just oil; it's some kind of engine therapy. "Helps protect against engine wear," they say. More like "gives your engine a hug from the inside." "Designed against sludge and harmful deposits," they claim. I'm pretty sure it also cleans my conscience for all the times I forgot to change the oil on time. The viscosity? 0W-20? I still have no idea what that means. But my truck seems to understand, and that's all that matters. It's like it's saying, "Finally, someone gets me!" The only downside? Now my truck is demanding artisanal fuel and organic air filters. It's gotten all high-maintenance on me. But hey, at least it's running smoothly. So, if your diesel truck is throwing a tantrum, try this oil. It might just be the engine whisperer you've been looking for. Just be prepared for your vehicle to develop a sudden taste for the finer things in life. And maybe start saving up for those tiny, overpriced engine spa robes. Five stars, because my truck is finally shutting up. Basically -- its oil.

1 extra qt required
Product is exactly what’s stated. Only issue is that it’s 1 qt shy of the required amount for changing the oil on the engine type it’s made for. This isn’t a super common oil, so I’d have expected it to have the extra quart.
