I waited four months to write a review because I wasn't sure this would last. While the kid's interest in it has waned a little, this toy has been loved! Sometimes it starts to respond oddly to the remote, but every time it's solved by charging the battery.

My boyfriend runs excavators for a living and is very into video games at the same time, so I thought this would be the perfect gift. He wouldn't stop playing with it from the moment he opened it. He is in love with this remote control excavator and is so excited each time he gets to play with it. He also loves that it's a real brand and not just an excavator that says something random. Now he wants more remote control vehicles to create a whole team.

Perfect for the beach! Battery lasted over an hour and it drives over sand no problem. It’s a little tricky to get sand out of the bucket, but overall a great little thing.
