Wash the water bottle on the top rack of the dishwasher or hand wash in warm soapy water before use. Water bottle filter does not require soaking. Rinse filter under running water for 15 seconds. Place the new filter in the housing and press down firmly until the filter is flush with the straw. Align the lid and straw with the unlocked position, rotate the straw to lock it. Replace your water filter every 2 months or 40 gallons. To replace the filter, look for the Brita Bottle Replacement Filter in Black, Item# 60258 35818. Fill the bottle with tap water and enjoy. Weight loss substances are not included in the water of all users
