Excellent - life-changer!
If I could give 10 stars I would! I bought the high spec 'Life' version and even at what I paid (£349) I think it is crazy value for money and I shall most definitely be renewing again after 12 months. It has provided invaluable data and intelligence, supporting my cardiac issues, sleep management, exercise regime, rest, recovery management eating times and so much more. The user interface and experience is very. Battery life of over a week and quick recharge means I'm never without it (with the clip-on charger you can charge it while using it at the gym etc. I thought my Apple Watch and phone were good, but this is on a totally different level. In my case it's literally a life-changer.

Whoop HG v Apple Watch ECG function
. I have been using an apple watch connected to apple health. My reason for buying the whoop top of the range HG band was to be able to wear my normal watch rather than the apple watch. The whole quality and feel of whoop in comparison is disappointing especially the build quality, the clumsy interface and particularly the ECG function. The unit doesnt feel as robust as an apple watch but I was happy that it seemed to work for the normal metrics. However the ecg function the major selling point of the HG model was nearly unusable . The phone screen recording shows an erratic trace and whilst it reports correctly or seemingly correctly the failures of taking an ecg are about 1 to 1 which is irritating. The apple watch is better, wait for the expected apple band or if your in between making a decision go for apple

Not a replacement if you are runner
If you’re a health data enthusiast, this device is perfect for you! I’ve been using it alongside my Garmin and it provides complementary data. Whoop focuses more on health data offering valuable insights into recovery and behaviour. While it’s not a replacement for a runner’s or sports device, it certainly offers a better overall picture of your health.

Whoop 5 mg
I have had all fitness bands and watches but this one is the only true device that is super accurate with chat gpt Built in the amount of data that you can understand is immense and chat gpt tells you exactly how to sleep train with it it's like having a personal fitness instructor with you 24/7 well worth the money!

Shine wears off and serious UI issues
So, I don’t typically write reviews but I have this 9 months now and there are good points and bad points. Positives 1. It is much more accurate on data, baseline measures. Good app and coach 2. Screenless design is excellent for limiting distractions and notifications vs previous Garmin. Same for battery life 3. Broad range of insights Negatives 1. It seems to have an inherent fail point on the AI coach and no memory. It’s frequently repetitive and conflicts with itself. 2. Although the app is good, the recommendations and suggestions tiles and training capture are completely inflexible and rigid. Very difficult to adjust workouts 4. Limited capture of diet and calories 5. The journal is deathly boring and repetitive with no suggested insights 6. Community is also pointless. At first I loved it. I thought this was a big upgrade on my Garmin. Now, honestly I’m disappointed and very expensive to renew. It’s been good but it’s become regressive after 9 months. Do think twice, it’s got its drawbacks.

Terrible support and quolity
Terrible customer support. Amazon is telling me that I need to contact Whoop. Whoop is not responding. I have paid for one year the highest paid plan. No damage to the device. One morning just stopped working. I paid for insurance too. Terrible support.

Spendy but well worth every $.
I purchased this for myself as I am working toward a more healthful life and it was recommended by family members. At first, I struggled with the annual subscription $; however, after using it for over a month now, I am amazed at the amount of data and recommendations for improvements in my health. It even has what is called "Healthspan" which predicts your actual age versus chronologic age based on your health data. Each day, the user is able to recieve a summary of past 24 hours as well as what improvements can be made in the future to positively affect the user's Healthspan. I had Fitbits for at least at least 13 years and this is an absolute game changer! Well worth the $$ based on the changes I have already been able to make in just over a month's time. It is recommended to keep the tracker on at all times, including showering. It is a bit awkward recharging because the charger actually is applied to the tracker and it charges while you are on the move (I didn't know this at first). I did change the original mesh wristband for a silicone replacement because I didn't like wearing a wet band after showering. This is only a personal preference and I don't think it should be considered a negative to the overall product, but feel others should be aware. Finally, similar to Fitbit, there are communities which the user can join to encourage improvement. You can also create a new community as my family did, so we can compete against each other while obtaining positive health benefits. New communities can be shared with others by simply sending a code and, again, very easy. In my opinion this is a very well made product that can definitely lead to improved health and wellness!
