Q: Is this a glass bottle?

No, it is not a glass bottle. But Our plastic bottles are non-toxic, BPA-free has no phthalates, and no bisphenol-A. Our bottles are proudly made in the USA and are 100% recyclable. Our plastic bottles go through a sterile Ozone rinse before being filled with our water. This Ozone rinse ensures any bacteria, viruses, spores, algae, and plastic by-products are not present before filling.

Q: What’s the pH of this water?

Bay-Bay Water is neutral with a pH of 7, but once the bottle is opened it absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, it can slightly become a pH of 6 once opened. We do not add any chemicals like Soda ash (sodium carbonate) and sodium hydroxide to raise the pH of the water to near neutral. We prefer to leave it as nature intends it to be. Bay-Bay Water is produced and processed in Georgia using natural Georgia Springwater and then distilled.

Q: Can you re-use the bottles?

No, it is not recommended because our bottles are sterilized before it is filled with our distilled water. Once you open the distilled water bottle is recommended to use it within 3 days. Most distilled water companies recommend this because once you open the water container contaminants can enter and remove the purification of the distilled water. If you reuse the bottles it removes the sterilization environment that we created before we fill them with our distilled water.

Q: Do you need to boil this water before use?

No, you do not need to boil Bay-Bay Water. Our water is distilled, distilled water is the purest form of drinking water on the planet. It undergoes a process of purification that occurs by boiling water into vapor and condensing it back into a liquid form. Distilled water is the best type of bottled water for babies as it doesn’t contain added minerals and will not harm your baby. Parents can also use distilled water to mix baby formula and cereals that are safe for baby’s consumption.
