Superb Headphone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought this headphone as I was searching for good bass and let me tell you that I was not disappointed at all. It gives some freaking bass !!!!!!!!!!I have been using it for almost 2 weeks now and I totally love it :)Features:1. The chord type is as usual Y-Shaped.2. The connection jack features a 3.5mm Glod Plated L-shaped plug. In most cases the L-Shape is always a plus point!3. Advanced Direct Vibe Structure.4. The buds are made of Hybrid silicone.5. It also has a 'Tangle-Free serrated' Chord.Accessories:1. Carry Pouch2. Chord Clip3. 3 Extra pairs of Buds of different sizes. So a total of 4 pairs in allPros:1. Clean and Deep Base Indeed!2. Good frequency response (as per specs)3. Tangle-Free(almost) Serrated Chords4. L-Shaped Gold Plated Plug5. Noise cancellation is pretty goodCons:1. Initially Uncomfortable for ears2. Slightly OverpricedSony advertises it as giving 'Intense Bass' and 'Ultra Clear mid-range sounds' which is what I bought this for in the first place. Well ' , I'd say you better trust sony on that. I'm not a Sony fan boy and nor am I acting to be one and this is the first time I've bought a Sony Headpone/Buds. The base is actually clear and deep. You wont notice any sort of distortion(at least I didn't) in bass when you pump your bass to max via your equalizer settings. Also as per the specs it has the best & widest frequency response of 4Hz to 24Khz as compared to others ' but then I doubt if any human can hear frequencies below 10Hz unless he/she is a gifted ears with some supernatural powers ' and also since its a generally accepted fact that 'normal' human ears are tuned to frequencies from 20Hz to 20Khz. The depth and clarity in bass has also to do with the design of the driver units and internal structure. The noise cancellation is pretty good too.Now .. lemme talk about 'the comfort' when listening with MDR-XB30EX:The first thing you feel when you plugin the headphones into your ear is a bit of 'un-comfort'. Thanks to the big 13.5mm dome type driver units you get a bit of uneasy feeling when you first start using it :( . Plugin into your ears for long time enough and it starts to give a pain(small though) where the driver touches your ears. For the first few days its really annoying. But as you get used to it the uncomfort and pain 'completely' vanishes. It actually fades away and.. I am not exaggerating here .. just saying what I experienced. And after that you'll probably fall in love with these earbuds.Handling:If your handling is bad like me xD then this wont give you any sorts of issues or problems. The serrated chord is extremely strong and much much better as compared to other headphones! Also these thick serrated chord make it almost tangle free! Also the L-Shaped 'small' plug is something I really liked ' though it seems to be a bit fragile ' . The overall build quality is impressive .. and once again I'm not being a Sony fanboy here.I bought it for almost 1500 which is bit high but given the sound quality its ok. So go for it :)

Story after 1 month of use
Lets talk about the listening experience first:Sony advertises it as giving “Intense Bass” and “Ultra Clear mid-range sounds” which is what I bought this for in the first place. Well … , I’d say you better trust sony on that. I’m not a Sony fan boy and nor am I acting to be one and this is the first time I’ve bought a Sony Headpone/Buds. The base is actually clear and deeper than EP630 and Skullcandy XL2. You wont notice any sort of distortion(atleast I didn’t) in bass when you pump your bass to max via your equalizer settings. The highs were also better than EP630 and specially XL2. Also as per the specs it has the best & widest frequency response of 4Hz to 24Khz as compared to others – but then I doubt if any human can hear frequencies below 10Hz unless he/she is a gifted ears with some supernatural powers 😛 and also since its a generally accepted fact that ‘normal’ human ears are tuned to frequencies from 20Hz to 20Khz. The depth and clarity in bass has also to do with the design of the driver units and internal structure. The noise cancellation is pretty good too.Now .. lemme talk about ‘the comfort’ when listening with MDR-XB30EX:The first thing you feel when you plugin the headphones into your ear is a bit of ‘un-comfort’. Perfect for me
Genuine reviewI bought these in August 2016,after reading all the over appraisal reviews.Everyone said there's no other earphones like these in terms of bass but there are if you try to find.If you see most the reviews are old and of the year 13-14.At that time the trend of bass songs such as edm, traps, trance was less in India compared to now. So such a earphone at that time would be only be a treat for bass heads. But today the craziness of edm, traps is booming in India and the production of bass earphones too. So to say that these earphones are the best in bass would not be justified. Now when i first plugged the earphones in my mobile, the sound was normal, there was bass but not as expected (reviews :p). I had to make the equalizer settings to bass booster to get the real bass out of it. I installed jet audio, I came to know that these earphones have the capacity for bass. Burned these for 10 hours or so. I also read that these are not for audiophiles but trust me these are, these earphones only give bass when there is bass high in the song otherwise is does not.The main thing I like about is that it does lets zero outer sound to come in and even in high volumes the person sitting next to you can't listen what are you hearing. For me these are nice earphones with nice crystal clear sound and good bass.To get the real bass out of it use bass booster pro or jet audio bass booster equalizer settings but don't use these together 😜.

Sennheiser or sony
I brought ths headphone for rs 899...I buy ths headphone bec I brought sennheiser cx275s but I used it for 1 day but I lost it during traveling...... reviews. ...Ialready I used sennheiser cx180 for 1yr......nw sony xbmdr30ex....bass is not so punchy as I expected...wn compared sennheiser cx180 &275s sony bass gud....but clearance of voice is more sennheiser & comfortable fit in ear where in sony is not that much......now price of sony is 1700+ it's better u can by sennheiser 275 s it's cums with mic but bass not punchy wn Campared to sony but it has decent bass easily fit ear .... sennheiser it's has two year warranty which is best advantage in it if it's not working u can courier it service center along with bill & u will get a replaced one.....within few days.. whereas in sony it has 1 yr warranty alne no mic in it...it's has little more bass wn Campared to sennheiser... for deep base lover sennheiser may not fully satisfy & sony also....for deep bass u have to buy some other ....for decent usage sennheiser is best & it international best brand of headphones..... u can refer n net also....it is top brand. . Sony which I brought is worth for rs 899 but not for rs1600+ .....it's better go with sennheiser 275s.....before buying i read most reviews and youtube videos but many of them says its has a deep bass......but it dosnt have bass like that its good deep bass but not soo punchy & very deep.....like theatre experience ...
