How long do the filters last?

I am sure there will be a printed date somewhere for maximum lifespan after which it will have degraded and should be thrown away, however this is a long-stop, as far sooner it is the accumulation of particulates trapped in the filter that is likely to require the filters to be replaced.  That depends on how dusty or contaminated the air in your work environment is.  I have used the dust particulates only filters in some very dusty environments, with sanded paint, wood and plaster dusts clogging the filter.  One should always do as the instructions advise, though I just gave the filters a tap and gently blew out the dust, and used the "press to check" function to make sure that everything was fine (which it was), although next time I will likely use a can of compressed air.  I find the seal around the nose and mouth to be the best and most comfortable I have used by a long margin,  and I reckon you will find they last at least as well as others, and remember that if they do completely clog, that's all contaminants that aren't in your lungs.
