I was after a cheap small microwave. This microwave saved me a fair bit of counter space from the previous one that was here. What I didn't expect is that it is my favorite microwave ever. Down sides - it's small (positive for me) it is lower watts so longer cook times, and the display is bright. Up sides - The beep can be disabled and the display toggled. The instruction manual was worth skimming for codes for options, other than that everything was intuitive. Using this microwave is awesome. No beeps at all once disabled. It just shuts off when done. The display can be toggled off by pressing the stop button. And when you press a number key by default it does that many minutes saving a button press. Of course the start button adds 30s making it easy to quickly get to a time. I wanted a cheap space saving one, but to my surprise found my favorite microwave.

What a great little microwave! I was a bit worried it might be too small but it fits: a dinner plate, 3 mugs, a 1.5 qt casserole dish with lid, a 1 pound loaf dish, a pyrex pie plate and alike. It also accommodates the average tall takeout soup container. Think Wanton. DISCLAIMER: It holds all these items separately - not all at once! That would be nuts. This unit is much quieter than my huge over-the-range microwave. In retrospect, what an absolute waste of space and money the old one is - without being any more useful to me than this 'little' unit! The buttons are easy to press, the pre-sets are convenient, the lighting is both soft and bright. It's heavy enough to be stable. Light enough to move. I spent the extra 16 bucks for the 4 year plan, just in case. Now that I actually have the unit, it seems so well-made and designed, the plan is probably unnecessary. (My old microwave died like a supernova. On a holiday weekend. Not taking any chances right now.) All the glowing reviews for Toshiba microwaves are spot-on. I'm very happy with this purchase.

It looks nice and works reliably so far (several months in now). Not a big fan of the child-protection door lock feature because we don’t have children here and it makes you WAIT until it’s done beeping before it lets you unlock and open the door! :-/ I try to press cancel and unlock it before time’s-up to avoid waiting through the beeps. It is slower at heating than the big high-wattage ones, but overall we are getting used to its personality quirks and we are very happy with it.

Small and compact, as advertised. Needed a small unit for my campervan, fits great in a small space. Works as expected.

I purchased this to replace a 4 year old microwave. This new one had features I really liked, eco-mode and signal silencer. It is the same size as my old one, but it seems more powerful. The buttons are very easy to push. It is easy to keep clean and doesn't take up as much space as my older one. Highly recommend. Would definitely purchase again.

I just had this delivered to my son’s apt today. The size is great for a small kitchen space. However, I cooked a potato for 6 minutes and the top of the microwave seems exceptionally hot. In addition, apparently all models have a safety lock now and I can’t seem to figure out how to unlock it. This is a huge inconvenience. We may be returning it.

Great little microwave. I haven't used all the features. Mainly use pizza and potato since most of my foods will cook in that length of time. It is small turntable; some dishes won't fit. POPCORN, I turn the end flaps up on each end so it will rotate properly. Popcorn setting isn't long enough for a large bag. I use the potato setting, which is 6 minutes but listen for the corn to stop popping. Get a full bag of popped corn. Don't let this detour your purchase. It's a great item. Hard to beat the price. The child lock was easy to undo. No small children here.

As described, received quickly. The opener is easier to use than the Sharp I had. This one is somewhat quieter too. Really bright light and clock display, luckily you can shut it off after each use.
