5 stars
I'm going to rate this 5 stars even though I'm not sure how effective it was for my birth, because I did a TON of things differently this pregnancy, one being that I made sure that baby was in optimal position for birth - which I hear speeds labor up in general. BUT, the reason I think it probably was effective is not only was my labor 8 hours long (my first being 36) the contractions we're VERY VERY manageable. (I'm comparing that to horrible back labor with my first though) but even with them being very very manageable whether it was due to them not being anything compared to back labor, they still seemed like each contraction was VERY effective. My labor progressed very smoothly and quickly! I could feel my cervix change with each contraction, it was amazing how in tuned with my body I was. Besides the contractions feeling like they were working in harmony and very powerful yet manageable, I had a normal amount of bleeding after the birth. No hemorrhaging or anything. My afterbirth pains are uncomfortable at times, but it seems as if my uterus is shrinking significantly, and my post partum bleeding has gone down tremendously within the first four days. It's at a light period. I started taking this at 35 weeks like advised, and I quite enjoyed the taste. I finished the bottle by 40 weeks, and apparently birthed at 41.2. I know it advises to not drink RRL if you're already taking this, but my midwife said it was perfectly safe too. So I started out with a cup about every other day, then increased to really strong brews around like 37/38 weeks and continued until birth. The reason I added RRL was because I'm typically pretty sensitive to it and with the tincture alone it seemed as if I wasn't getting AS much Braxton Hicks as I imagined I would. Plus I really wanted my uterus to be toned for my HBAC. And guess what! The HBAC was a complete success. It was a beautiful birth. Regardless, I'm going to be using this for future births. :-)

EFFORTLESS WATER BIRTH- BREATHED THROUGH THE PRESSURE!
HOME WATER BIRTH was INCREDIBLE! I started this at 36 weeks and made sure to also do pelvis floor exercises. I was in small labor spurts for a week or 2 but ended up having my daughter early. I did a home water birth, and it was the easier birth I’ve ever had. I know for a fact this worked as this is my 4th natural birth/ 2nd home birth and it gave me energy , 5 hour labor and 25 min push. I was dancing through labor pains 30 min before my water broke and babygirl was ready to come on out. The taste to me was good lol, my body felt strong and I had no crazy side effects, just prepare to maybe feel like your starting labor days before and it go ahead . I think it was just the body really practicing well from the tincture. I am going to contact Gentle Birth to share my birth video, I didn’t make a sound I only breathed through my whole labor, no tearing and after the ambulance got us from the house, we were healthy and discharged in 24 hours exactly. I loved it!

I would recommend to another pregnant mama
Edit: birth story short, Yes! It works!!! I do believe since I used this tincture it made my labor quick, contractions were manageable/unknown until I hit transition, and everything was smooth. So glad I used this again! I personally do believe this stuff works! I used it with my first pregnancy around 35-36 weeks as suggested. I think it helped with some pain tolerance during labor. This time around I decided to not get the blue cohosh just in case for blood pressure, because last time I had it and my Bp was a little questionable? Idk first time birthing a baby sounds like anxiety anyways. Haha could have been that. But the taste is different, stronger just take a drink after and doesn’t leave a weird aftertaste. Might check in after I have my baby if I really think it works for unmedicated birth!

If you dont try it you'll never know if it works
This was recommended by a friend, who on her 3rd baby took this leading up to birth and only had a 3hr labor *start to finish*. So I, a FTM, said "I want a 3hr labor" lol. I took this 2x a day with meals starting at 35 weeks til 37 weeks- then I did 3x a day until BAM- 39 and 4 days baby came. Active labor was only 7 hrs including 1 hr push time- the tiniest tear- and a baby with a perfectly round head. Now. In my experience this doesn't make birthing 'easy'- but, the hardest most painful part went quickly and I'm good with that. I dilated quickly- from 7cm arrving at the hospital, to 10cm and ready to push an hour later. This was back in August '25 that I had my baby- and only for about 5 days did I bleed, soreness with movement for about 2 weeks, and from there it was just a mental awareness that I just had a baby and had to be easy on my 'already feels healed' body. Price for product- worth it Effectiveness- definitely effective when combined with other preparations. I also walked some (not alot) and drank a red raspberry leaf tea+pineapple juice+cherry juice most days. Taste- better than I thought. I actually liked it Needless to say, my friend is about to have a baby, and I'm letting her borrow this GIGANTIC bottle.

A Must Have for Birth Prep
I purchased the tincture without blue cohosh. Let me start off by saying this was my 3rd child and 2nd Vbac and wanted the best outcome I could have. I know this stuff has magical powers because I took it with my first and was 4cm dilated by the time of his due date. My second, I didn’t take it at all and was not dilated at all by his due date. With the most recent delivery of my 3rd baby (literally yesterday) I started taking at 35 weeks and 2 days. I had my 36 week appointment and was already dilated 2 cm. I wasn’t having any contractions really but would try to get some walks in when I could. By 38-39 weeks I stayed at 3cm and only notice cramps but nothing horrible. By 39 weeks and 2 days I started noticing more frequent contractions and thought maybe labor was on its way. I had 2 days of more intense contractions and yesterday am (39 weeks 6days) I had my checkup and I was 4cm dilated and very thin/soft. After I left my appointment I was having mild but steady contractions. I continued to have them throughout the day and by 5 pm I started feeling like it was the real deal. My contractions were painful but manageable. By 6:40 pm I could barely walk and was in so much pain. The car ride to the hospital was excruciating and by the time I got to the hospital and checked in I was 8 cm dilated. This was amazing for me, as my first 2 births were both inductions and I never experienced spontaneous labor. I won’t say that this helped with labor contractions but breathing through them was manageable, I was just too uncomfortable and luckily I was able to get an epidural. By the time we were checked into our room and all the IVs were in it was probably 8:30pm and I gave birth at 9:44pm. I truly believe this tincture helped me to be able to labor over the course of a few days and have a quick transition. I believe I pushed for 5-10 minutes and she came quick! My uterus definitely did most of the work and my post birth checkups they said it was very firm. I bled a little more (as I did with the last one) but today I’d say the bleeding is under control, again something I think that gentle birth contributed to. 1000% recommend to strengthen your uterus for labor and delivery!
