This chair is perfect at the price point. It has a full range of adjustable settings to provide the right sitting position with lumber and height adjustments. Its mesh backing means no sweaty back in warm temperatures. I use this chair approximately eight hours a day when working from home with no strains on arms or back. I cannot fault it.

I am the Editor of a scientific Journal and spend a lot of the day reading and typing on a PC. I must use an ergonomically designed computer chair that supports my back and is comfortable to use. When my old computer chair started to shed its plastic covering and created a real mess on the carpet, I researched a replacement chair. Based on the reviews on the web (YouTube) and Amazon I selected the SIHOO Office Desk Chair, Good reviews and a fair price. It arrived quickly, 2-days from Amazon. All parts were carefully wrapped and the instructions were easy to follow. Additional screws and washers were provided. A big change from the old days when at least 1 screw might be missing from a self-assembly package! Assembly was easy, using only 1 tool, a robust Alan key. I also found an assembly video on YouTube. But it was not required. The assembled chair felt solid, of excellent quality and comfortable. Adjustment was easy. The mesh back is a good feature. Plenty of ventilation. I have been using it for a week now and am pleased to recommend it.

I have had this chair for over 4 years now. It is still strong and working. It has provided ultimate comfort this whole time (4 years) - over long gaming sessions and 8 hour Work-From-Home sessions. Back support is great, head support is great, and it does not squeak/make high pitch noises when turning. Over the last 4 years, one issue I have had, is that the arm rest cusions have been falling apart and I find sponge on my floors every so often. The second issue, is that the bolts come lose and the chair makes an annoying sound until you screw them fully back in again. Overall, quality chair that has outlasted any other chair I have had. P.S. The price is still the same as I bought it last (current price = £170 (British pounds) or $240 (American dollars).

I do have one small critique, but honestly, for the price, it’s barely worth mentioning. Still, for complete transparency, I’ll include it. 1. Assembly This chair is the easiest thing I’ve ever built in my entire life. Not only do they include clear instructions, but they also provide a YouTube video to walk you through it. If you follow that, you’ll have it done in no time. On top of that, they include the tool for the screws—and it’s not some cheap little L-key. It’s actually a solid, well-made tool that makes the whole process easier. I’ve built chairs before that required all kinds of jiu-jitsu tricks just to align the parts, but this one came together perfectly. 2. Quality of Materials The materials are genuinely high quality. They invested in the areas that matter—seat, back support, legs, the whole structure. Nothing feels cheap or rushed. 3. Adjustability I’ve seen some complaints online, but honestly, this chair adjusts exactly the way you want it to. It leans back, goes up and down—everything you’d expect. If someone can’t figure out how to operate it, that’s more of a user problem than a chair problem. 4. Design It’s just beautiful. As we get older, we don’t want to be full-grown adults sitting in racing-style or overly “gamer” chairs. We want something more mature and classy, and this chair nails that aesthetic. 5. Wheels The wheels are perfectly fine. They’re standard office chair wheels—they move when you push them, exactly as they should. If you want fully adjustable 4D armrests, you’ll need to look elsewhere. But for what you pay, this chair is basically perfect. This one genuinely deserved a review, especially for one small detail: For absolutely no reason… they included gloves. I’ve never seen that before, but it shows they care. I’ve been using this chair for about 11 months and here’s my honest take: The chair is comfortable for long hours. The lumbar support and seat height adjustments make a big difference. The mesh back keeps me cool, though the seat cushion can feel a bit rough if you’re wearing shorts (I solved this by adding a cushion cover). Overall, it feels solid with strong metal feet and a sturdy frame. However, the wheels have been disappointing—two of them popped off while I was just sitting, which really shouldn’t happen. I can reattach them, but one keeps slipping off, which raises concerns about long-term durability. Assembly was very straightforward with clear instructions. I managed to put it together without any issues. Excellent back support. The lumbar cushion and ergonomic design really help reduce strain during long working hours. Lots of options—seat height, recline, armrests, headrest, and lumbar support. It’s easy to customize the chair to your needs, although the headrest feels a little stiff once set. Value for Money: Mixed feelings. The ergonomics and comfort are worth it, but the wheel issue makes me question whether it’s truly good value after a year of use. A well-designed, comfortable chair with great support and adjustability, but the wheel problem holds it back from being a 5-star product.

I've had this chair a couple of days now and have spent over 12 hours in it so far. Here are my initial thoughts. First of all, it's a bit tricky to put together by yourself. It can be done, but it would be much easier with someone to help. The holes in the arm rest fittings are oblong, giving you some choice as to how far apart you want the rests to be. Once put together the chair feels fairly sturdy but it doesn't feel premium quality - which is fair, as it's not a premium price. Sometimes cheaper things can be better than much more expensive alternatives, but in this case you do get what you pay for. The seat cushion feels fine, it's firm but not uncomfortable. The adjustable arm rests are a good size and comfortable. The gas lift works well and is simple enough, but the same control is also used for setting the recline, and that can be a bit fiddly to adjust. Where the seat lets itself down is with the head rest and lumbar support. I am a 5'10" male of average weight, and even with the head rest fully extended the bottom of it digs into my lower neck/upper spine just above my shoulders. It can tilt forwards or backwards, but tilting it forwards just makes it dig in even more, and tilting it back just means I have to lean my head back and stare at the top of the wall if I want to rest my head on it. The lumbar support can be adjusted forwards and backwards, and up and down. Initially this felt comfortable, but quite soon the lumbar support began to feel intrusive and uncomfortable. Its main problem is that it can't be retracted far enough out, so you constantly feel it pressing against your lower back even on the minimum setting. This becomes even more noticeable when reclining. It's not a soft support either - it's literally a block of plastic with some soft material on the front. Sadly I can't see a way to remove this completely. I'm going to give the chair another day or so, but because of the aforementioned issue with the lumbar support I'm afraid I'm probably going to have to look into returning this.

Delivered on time, easy to assemble and very comfortable

I am a person over 200 pounds. I sit for long periods for work. Since I got this chair I haven't had any back pain. I'd say my only complaint is the seat could be a little cushier but compared to other chairs I've had, this one is excellent. It was easily adjustable for lumbar support. Another nice thing is the arm rests don't seem to loosen, I end to lean on them a lot. Haven't tightened a screw in months of usage so far. Rolls well, my shoulders don't hurt or touch the outter frame of chair. Headrest is not much use to me but doesn't get in way and is adjustable.
