Q: What size is good for cookies ? Which size is good for brown sugar ?

I bought the 64 ounce and they are perfect for us. The opening is just right for a hand to easily reach and I have all different sizes of cookies. I suppose it depends on how many cookies you want to hold. I think this would be a good size for brown sugar. The tops are air tight!!

Q: How much flour does this fit in?

Just shy of a 5lb bag of all purpose flour. About 1 cup didn't make it in.

Q: Do the lids fit tightly?

Yes the lids fit tight enough, I keep cereal in one jar and pretzels in the other and the food doesn’t get stale .

Q: can you get just the lids
