Nice table
In my quest to find a Reiki massage table I found the 2" padded ones seemed easier on my wallet. Having tried a 2" padded portable table before though, I had a good idea of its comfort level. I also had to consider my clients and how much weight that might be placed upon the bed. Considering the person's weight and working weight (pressure applied) as a factor Amazon claims it to be 600lbs which was a selling point for me. The manufacturer recommends, in the included literature, not to exceed 450lbs of client's weight AND pressure applied. Thus, if you have a client of 300lbs you can exert 150lbs of force downward or about 75lbs of force at an angle. I had thought of docking it a star for the misconception as 450lbs verses 600lbs is a considerable difference, yet in calling Factory Direct Wholesale, LLC (404-202-9994), they confirmed the actual weight limitation to the table as 600 working pounds. Another note is this table is covered with polyurethane vinyl that is textured like leather which is pretty standard. Clean up is suggested using an isopropanol (rubbing alcohol) based hospital grade disinfectant cleaner. Even with a cloth used, I prefer using Cavicide (isopropanol based), letting stand for 3 minutes before wiping clean, followed by a wipe of medical grade alcohol to ensure there is no residue. A light wood polish on the wooden parts keeps them looking great but they have a nice varnish to them. This table is large and somewhat heavy at 60lbs. When collapsed it is 11 inches thick, 39 inches long and 30 inches tall. I am 5'7" tall, 135lbs and slender build so the table is expected to be a little cumbersome for me to haul around for long distances though not impossible. The carry bag has one handle on the side and a shoulder strap for the top. Although I have others to move it around for me, I would highly recommend a massage table cart. There is also a small pouch in the bag that is great for holding MDS sheets and head rest and table linen. In receiving I was pleased with the packaging. The very large box had extra pieces of cardboard at the corners and the entire bed inside it's carrying bag was wrapped tightly in bubble wrap. Unpacking was very simple and the bag is ample sized for a snug fit. Removing the massage table from within was not too difficult. The bed has 1 inch feet on the bottom (which becomes the side) to prevent the vinyl/PU leather from becoming marred or scratched during setup. Set up is quick and easy. There is ample storage for the head rest, arm brace and bolster in the center between the legs where there is elastic straps placed. Height adjustment does require loosening up the grip knobs from each leg and replacing them in the respective holes before setting up. On a nice flat surface this table is very solid feeling and doesn't wobble shake or groan. I found the padding and soft supple vinyl/PU leather to be very ample and luxurious. I had a larger client lay on the table who commented he could "lay there for days!" I noted the table was wide enough that side supports were not needed which was nice. The table does not absorb energies as a metal table seems to and has a very good flow. The back plank was simple to work and moves and locks easily. Releasing is simple by lifting fully up and letting down gently. Everything felt secure and well put together though it should be noted that with any massage table should be inspected and maintained often before placing a client on it. There are 6 plastic covered cables and several hinge points to check but can be done in a couple minutes during setup. I am pleased with the table.

Solid, well-built, and comfortable table
This is my first massage table, so not a lot to compare it to, but here goes: As an overall impression, I like the table very much, and would definitely buy it again. Pros: It's comfortable. This has the thickest padding of any table we looked at, and the height is adjustable to increments that allow for the perfect height for the massage provider. The covering is a flexible vinyl that's fairly thick and seems durable. It's Solid. It doesn't move at all under side or down pressure, and feels like a much heavier table. The designers did well in the placement of the cables. Easy to assemble. There really isn't any assembly to speak of for the table itself - in just a few seconds, the table unfolds from it's portable configuration to a fully usable table. All ancillary parts (e.g. headrest, arm rests) are stored under elastic bands on the underside of the table and slide into plastic grommets on the sides of the table. On initial opening of the latches, I was concerned that the cables could get tangled. Not to worry - it opened effortlessly, and on closing the cables fell perfectly into place every time. Length is good. At 77", this is one of the longest tables we reviewed before making our purchase. While a shorter table may make it easier to handle when folded, it's great to have the length, so the compromise is worth it. Well-placed carrying straps. The carrying straps are well-placed for a 6 foot+ person to carry the table. The shoulder strap is adjustable, and the handle on the table helps provide stability when carrying. Adjustable back rest. This was one of the few tables (and the only one at this price point) that had a back rest. It's adjustable, and gives a good range of height. This is a great feature if the subject isn't prone, and makes it easier to work on legs and feet while talking to the subject. Cons: Weight. For a portable, this is a heavy table. It could have been lighter if it was shorter, but that's a trade-off I wouldn't want to make. It's manageable, and the weight doesn't add much complexity to folding it up. Height adjustment is manual, done by unscrewing two knobs on each leg, moving the leg to a new position on 2 studs, and replacing the knobs. It isn't particularly difficult and the knobs screw in and out easily, but it takes time. Of course if the table is the right height as it unpacked (I raised it 3 notches from the packed position), then this wouldn't be an issue. All considered, this is probably the most stable design for the legs, since any reasonably inexpensive adjustable device (such as a side latch with a cam) would detract from overall stability. Armrest under the headrest. This is a nice feature that most tables seem to have, but it is suspended from the headrest rather than being rigidly affixed to any part of the table. It's a nit, but in the pictures it looked like I could use it as a work area for oils, etc. Not so. All nits aside, I really like this table. It has all the features I was looking for, with some nice extras. I did not receive any compensation for this review.

Great product
My clients love this bed. It is soft and comfortable. Love that the top lifts up when I do muscle work. It is also wide and holds some of my larger 350- 400 lbs clients without any issues. Worth buying. I am starting to see wear and tears in the face hole and the crease where it moves up and down, but I have had it for 3-4 years now.

Good choice, sturdy
Just received it but so far very happy with it. It is sturdy, no movement on carpet. Easy to set up. due to leg surgery cannot do the same exercises on the floor, so now I'm able to do them on the table. I got the 4" padding even tho I'm a ligthweight and I don't regret it. Very comfortable. The covering material seems like it will hold up.

Probably the largest portable table out there
This is an early review, so it may be revised down the road. Since purchase I have received and given two massages on this table. It is EXTREMELY sturdy! And large! After some initial creaking the table is completely silent during massage. The padding appears to be 2" thick not 4". However, it is possible the manufacturer starts with 4" padding during the upholstery process, and compression/compaction makes it look thinner. Either way the padding is very luxurious and comfortable. It also returns to normal shape shortly after weight is removed The table comes with a fully adjustable head rest, half bolster, two side arm rests, hanging armrest, and an adjustable backrest on one end that raises high enough to give a facial. The table is large enough to comfortably support a football or basketball player. I'm a 225 lb 6' tall male and my feet are at least a good 8" from the end of the table when using the head rest. This is a LARGE, HEAVY table. I don't have a scale to weigh it, but ship weight is 61 lbs and the outer box can't weigh more than 10 lbs, so say 45-50 lbs for the table with accessories attached. And while it is portable you won't want to carry it up and down stairs regularly. If you will be moving the table frequently - order a cart. Very much worth the purchase price. So sturdy it could serve as a permanent table. A great option if you need a table that can handle the largest clients (7' and 300+ lbs) ---edit--- After a week (6 massages) one of the plastic washers broke. It's one of the two washers that separate the metal headrest dowels from the wood frame of the table body. This was from standard head pressure on the headrest. It might have been weak all along - be sure to inspect ALL the small parts and inspect screw tightness when you receive your table. If I can contact the manufacturer I'll see if I can get a replacement part.

Game Changer
I purchased this table to help with a total knee replacement (TKA) post exercise regimen. The quality surpassed my expectations. It is sturdy, comfortable, easy to set up and take down. I am currently doing the preoperative regimen and already love the convenience. This table is just a practical piece of exercise equipment to add especially for those who find it difficult to exercise on the floor. It is like exercising in your bed, but you are not contaminating the sheets which is a crucial component of TKA success, lowering the risk of infections. Even if you are not having surgery, but want to exercise to keep your muscles flexible or enjoy a massage from a loved one, you will be glad you purchased it. Ninety-nine dollars is a rare bargain for this product.

Great product
My partner used to go to a masseuse regularly to manage pain in her shoulder and so I started learning how to massage her shoulder while we watched our shows before bed. Her massage therapist moved out of town, and she tried a few other massage therapists, but was not satisfied. I decided to get the massage table so I could give her a massage before bed time and hoped I'd get good enough so she would not have to seek out another massage therapist. Pretty soon I got better and she has not even sought a new massage therapist since. During our massages we get some relaxing time discussing our day or just listening to calm music while we decompress. Sometimes she falls asleep on the table and I have experimented on different techniques to work on different body parts. She goes to the gym and comes back with soreness wherever her trainer worked on that day and its nice to know I can work on the soreness and get her ready for the next day. The table is sturdy and I often hop on to the table to use different techniques when working on her hips and hamstrings. She is a size small, about 5'5" tall. I'm a husky guy and there is zero wobble in the table when I hop on. Get a heated pad to add comfort. I don't use the arm inserts because the table is big enough without it. The face rest is sturdy when locked in and the opening for her face is comfortable when she slides down. Glad I got this table. Thanks.

I'm so happy about this purchase...
My husband and I were looking for a massage table for personal/home use. Neither of us is a professional, so I ask that you please consider my review accordingly. The table arrived BEFORE the projected delivery-date range and in great working order. I set it up quickly and easily by myself. We have had massages at many different spa locations and we both agree that this table feels as comfortable as any we have ever experienced. My husband is 6' 2", weighs 220 lbs., and he is totally comfortable on this table. It feels soft, yet sturdy to both of us. We have each had two massages on the table so far and we LOVE IT! If something happens to change our feelings after normal use, I assure you I will return to update my review. I am always a reluctant buyer who reads (too many) reviews, and I have a hard time making decisions - especially when customer reviews can have such a wide range. If you are looking for an affordable massage table for home use and comfort, do not hesitate to try this one. In fact, I wouldn't tell my husband what I spent until we tried it - he assumed I spent a lot more than I actually did. If you are a professional who needs to carry it from one place to another, just consider that this table may weigh more than some others, but you will not be sacrificing extra money or your clients' comfort. Enjoy!
