Great quality cocoa butter for DIY skincare & handmade gifts I purchased this cocoa butter to make a homemade Christmas gift for my mom, and overall I’m very happy with the quality. I used it to create a Lush-inspired exfoliating shower bar, and once melted, the cocoa butter blended smoothly and evenly with my other ingredients. The scent is natural and rich without being overpowering, and it gives the finished bar a very nourishing, luxurious feel on the skin. After rinsing, the skin still felt soft and moisturized rather than dry. My mom absolutely loved it and commented on how moisturizing it felt. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is that the cocoa butter came in fairly large pieces, so it took a little longer to melt than expected. Once melted, though, it performed exactly as hoped and set well in the final product. This is a great option for anyone into DIY skincare, soap making, or creating thoughtful handmade gifts. I would purchase it again for future projects.

OMG!! This is THE best FOOD GRADE cocoa butter!! It's harvested from West Africa, so you know it's safer than any other you can buy on the planet. It's the perfect compliment to African - Either Ghana or Ivory Coast - cocoa powder if you want to make gourmet chocolates! It is also FAR more affordable than most I've seen. I shopped a long while to find this, and I'm so glad I did! Think Sharfenburger. Yum! I HIGHLY recommend!!
