This fragrance instantly took me back to being a kid with a pocket full of change at the neighborhood corner store. The first spray reminded me of those fruity Jolly Rancher sticks that used to cost about 15 cents. If you know, you know! It's bright, juicy, and smells like summer from the very first spray. I get a burst of refreshing watermelon with hints of pear and citrus that make it feel fresh instead of overly sweet. The dry down is where it surprised me. The subtle praline and musk add just enough warmth to round everything out without taking away from the fun, candy-like vibe that made me fall in love with it in the first place. This isn't trying to be a luxury perfume, and that's exactly why I enjoy it. It's a happy fragrance. The kind you reach for when you want to smell good, brighten your mood, and maybe have someone ask, "What are you wearing?" It also has a nice little staying power, especially considering the price. If you're looking for an affordable fragrance that's fruity, cheerful, and full of summer nostalgia, I definitely recommend giving this one a try. It's like bottling up a carefree afternoon, a juicy watermelon, and those candy runs to the corner store all in one spray.

At first spray you definitely get sweet watermelon. My immediate thought was it smells like the extra gum watermelon flavor. To me it smells just like that on the initial spray. Then it settles down once on the skin to a warm watermelon shampoo. The “shampoo” of it all, is light. I would not go as far to call this a clean fragrance in any sense. It’s definitely fresh, almost photorealistic watermelon. Like watching your mom when you’re a kid, wash the watermelon in the sink with soap then wash it off. She got distracted and she didn’t wash it off completely. Then she starts chopping it up and you’re just tall enough to see what she’s doing and smell the fresh watermelon juice while she’s shopping. It’s deeply nostalgic and very reminiscent of the early 2000s without it being juvenile. It’s sweet and youthful and magnetic. It’s a teeny bottle it’s very cute and purse ready. It’s a very fun scent. I can smell it on myself a few hours, maybe 2-3 at most just by itself. But when I combine it or create a scent combo, I can smell it several hours later. The scent almost rehydrates and I can smell the watermelon still after I spray a different perfume on top. I usually combine with pink blush or something tropical. I like the scent a lot and it influenced me to try other different watermelon perfumes. It’s just so feminine and playful. For the less than $20 I got it for it’s a fun surprise. I blind blight it and don’t regret.

I was looking for a long lasting watermelon perfume and Batikh did not disappoint! The packaging is suoer cute as it resembles a watermelon. She smells just like a watermelon jolly rancher! Projection is strong and it lasts for hours. I think she will also pair well with other fruity floral scents, very versatile. I love it!
