Great robot vacuum for the price — impressive cleaning and mopping
I’ve been really impressed with the DEEBOT X9 Pro Omni so far. I paid around $440 for mine, and at that price I think it’s an excellent value for what you get. The vacuum has strong suction and does a great job picking up dirt, dust, and debris. What really stands out to me is the mopping system. The roller-style mop does a noticeably better job than the traditional spinning mop pads I’ve used on other robot vacuums, especially with everyday messes and footprints. The Omni station is also a huge convenience. Having the robot automatically empty itself, wash the mop, and handle most of the maintenance means I don’t have to constantly mess with it. Navigation and obstacle avoidance have been good overall, and the robot has been able to handle my floors without much babysitting. Like any robot vacuum, it isn’t perfect and there are occasional things it can miss, but overall it has made keeping the house clean much easier. For around $400–$500, I think the X9 Pro Omni offers a lot of features for the money. If you’re looking for a robot that actually does both vacuuming and mopping well, this is definitely worth considering. Pros: * Excellent vacuuming * Very good roller-style mopping * Self-emptying and self-washing station * Good navigation * Lots of features for the price * Great value around $400–$500 Cons: * App could be a little more intuitive * Still requires occasional maintenance Overall: 5/5 — Very happy with the purchase so far.

Highly recommend
I have had mine for a year now, and it’s been nearly flawless. It occasionally has some mapping issues but easily fixed and I have had 3 other robots and they were way worse. This does a great job and battery life is good enough to do my 1250 sq foot house on one battery cycle. The only thing I don’t like about it, is the water tanks are a little small. I usually have to dump the dirty and refill the clean before the entire house cycle is done. With that being said, I have a German shepherd, a boxer, a Shih Tzu, and a Yorkie. So I’d say it would make a full house cleaning if I didn’t have the dog traffic in And out of the house. But it does a great job picking up pet hair. I did extensive research on vac/mop combos before buying this, and it looked like the best for my conditions. If this thing dies, I would definitely buy another just like it. The price when I bought it was $1499, however it’s about half that now. My home is all vinyl laminent flooring with 4 dogs and 2 adults.

Crapped out in less than 3 months
This robotic mop worked very well for a couple of months. Then it started going back to charge when it still had a 60% charge. Thankfully we bought an extended protection plan. But now we have to package it up and send it back to be “repaired” instead of receiving a replacement. Don’t waste your money on this.

Excellent vacuuming, navigation, obstacle avoidance, and mopping
So far so good. I will update this review after i have more time with it. I watched a bunch of review videos on youtube on best robot mop and vacuum combos prior to purchasing. I was between this and a couple of others. Initial concerns i had with this were with its navigation system that other reviewers had pointed out. So far it seems to be just fine. If you do an initial mapping and it doesn't pick up an area and you later remove the junk that was blocking it, then it will remap that area next round and pick up in the missed area next time. So this was a plus and placated my concerns with its navigation. Second concern i had is with pet hair tangling. Only time will tell. None of the reviewers i found did an extensive review where they had 2 dogs and a cat in their house like me; most reviewers seemed to just run this some pet hair once and called it good from there so i didnt really buy it; the problem with pet hair in my opinion can only be seen overtime. So i will update the review a couple months later to see how well this does. I upgraded from a roomba j7 and got tired of the pet hair tangling the rollers and always having to maintain it after every other vacuuming; also the roomba j7s side brush would always get tangled. So i will see if over time the side brush on this gets tangled. apparently with the way the side brush was designed on this the hair is supposed to roll downward off the sidebrush and this prevents the hairs from tangling on it; so we shall see. Apparently roller styled robots mop the best, and so far it is far better than my roomba braava jet. Floors havent been this clean for awhile so i am thoroughly satisfied. i have it set to just vacuum and mop at the same time, so we shall see how this does with pet hair on the roller mop brush as well. Only one youtube reviewer did a review on long term maintenance after a couple months of usage, i think his channel is called just a dad. I think this one is the easiest because the mop tray can just come out and lets you just wash it in the sink so that will be a plus to me. He didn't give this robot a pass on his gold standard because of the navigation and obstacle avoidance, but mines is doing just fine. This all said, his review was maybe about a year ago so this robot has probably had some time to get updates since and it shows to me. Overall i am very satisfied for a first impression. I will update this review months from now. Thanks.

Vacuums and mops with little fuss!
Pretty easy to use, once you have your house mapped properly! So far, I've mapped the house 3 times. Mapping is kind of a pain for all robot vacuum's (from what I've read). This vacuum is pretty much maintenance free. You fill the water, put cleaning solution in and it does the rest. It will tell you when you need to perform any maintenance. I wish it was a little thinner as it can't vacuum or mop at the toe kick area (space under the cabinets, which is where a lot of crumbs end up in the kitchen. I should have check before purchasing. Other than that, I'm pleased.

Great mopping and very low maintenance
I really like it so far. It cleans the floors really well and the mopping is especially good. One of the best things for me is that I don’t have to keep removing and cleaning the roller myself because it cleans it while it’s working. That makes it feel very low maintenance compared to other robot vacuums I’ve used. Overall, it does a really good job and saves me a lot of cleaning.

Like an Annoying Roommate with a long Rental Agreement.
Truly a disappointing experience and piece of hardware. I bought this when the discounted price was $1099 + tax in July 2025, with highly acclaimed Vacuum Wars feedback. I wish I had opened up and tried it during the return window. My fault for blindly trusting. I had a Roborock S7 Ultra Max from 2022, also Vacuum Wars rec, and even 5 years later that machine is a beast. I have 6 cats at home so there is a daily mess. The Roborock handled this mess in a home that was 4x smaller than I'm currently in, swimmingly. This Deebot is a Dumb-bot. It is regularly getting stuck daily in places and on items that it should be avoiding, it does not respond to the no-go zones on the app, sometimes it does not clean the edges even with its dandy edge roller. When it maps the house it does not automatically vacuum while traveling, dragging all the dirt with it leading to potential scratching, the physical quality of the item feels very cheap, the voice is rather annoying, it leaves streaks when it does clean, and still misses spots completely requiring myself to go in with a manual vacuum at least 30% of the time. It technically works but it's not hands off like my previous. At the price point, what's the point? Pros: - The handles of the reservoirs are very nice to grab and manage - It's rather compact - The edge cleaning feature really does work most of the time - Quieter than robots from 5 years ago - Hot water and hot air dry cleaning is a nice feature But at the $1k price point I paid? Absolutely not. At $300-350? Okay this is very fair and the hiccups are more forgiving. Like a messy divorce, I will put up with this disappointment for another year or so or until I can justify paying more money for another robot.

Good vac not great mop
So far I like how it vacuums. I initiated vacuum first then vacuum + mopped ( there is no mop only feature) although when I put it to vacuum them mop it vacuumed again but I didn't see any moisture from the mop and the dirt on the bathroom floor didn't come up. I had it on medium for water flow rate, I increased it to like 40 something but still didn't see any wetness on the floor I have wood floors. So i increased it to 50 the highest and then I saw it mopped the bathroom spots and the wood. I think it vacuumed well but the legs on my vanity are u shaped and the vac couldn't vacuum thoroughly. I've only used it once but I may update if there are changes

Very happy with this purchase.
I have a 1600sq.ft. rancher that is 85% hardwood. The other 15% being 3 carpet throw rugs for the doors to the outside and tile in the bathrooms. I also have no pets. First of all it mapped the whole house within 10 mins without issue. I then set the unit to vacuum and mop at the same time. I also put the suction on "quite mode" because hardwood floors vacuum easily and don't need high suction (this also extends the battery life). I also set it to ramp up suction automatically when it detects that it is on the carpets for the doors. Carpets need way more suction then hardwood floors. The cleaning pattern was set to standard which does the best job while also conserving battery use. The water level for the mop wetting was set to 15%. The floors are never hugely dirty (no kids. and no pets) so I told it not to empty the dust bin until the whole house was cleaned and as clean as I thought the house was, the dustbin was full after it was done. What impressed me was all the dirt it found on low suction that I never even knew was on my floors. The results are the whole house vacuumed and mopped in 2 and a half hours without having to recharge. The battery also had 24% charge left on it. Now if my house was mostly carpeted and I had messy kids (mine are moved out) and pet hair all over the place the unit would of had to recharge at least once. The great thing is though is that if it does need to recharge it knows how much of the house is left to get done and recharges enough to finish the job instead of charging all the way to 100% which saves time. It navigated all obstacles with ease and traversed all transition strips without a hitch. My wife now frequently comments about how good the floors look after the X9 has finished mopping them. I think the fact that it uses a roller mop that is constantly cleaning itself while scrubbing the floor instead of the disk style mops that are only cleaned at the station is the reason for this. Also the people that I read in the reviews complaining about it returning to the base station to clean the roller to frequently or always emptying the dust bin when it has no dirt in it, or they cant turn the robots voice to off just haven't spent enough time studying the app. All these complaints can be remedied through the app which in turn can also extend the battery life. The only thing is that even though it ran perfectly the one thing I can't vouch for is the longevity of the unit. How many years am I gonna get out of it. It better be a long time. We'll see. Every other brand I considered always had somebody who said their Ecovacs, RoboRock, Eufey or their Roomba was junk and wouldn't buy them again. So I went with the brand that had the most 5 star ratings and smallest ratio of one star ratings which was the Ecovacs. Also "Vacuum Wars" gave the X9 their number one rating too. So far, I'm very happy with this purchase.

Mopping is disappointing in general
Pros: Good for everyday cleaning of one floor Good suction power Scheduling is very efficient Cons: Mopping is disappointing in general It mops the floors only if the station is on that floor Not good for multiple floors. I doesnt get the corners or the edges well Long hairs get stuck on the roller. Automatic emptying the dust feature doesn't work.
