INNERSENSE Organic Beauty - I Create Curl Memory Cream (2oz, 2-Pack)

HAIR TYPE: Long, fine, wavy to curly This is the holy grail of hair gels/creams for me. I get a greasy scalp FAST and my long fine hair likes to form split ends. Everything I have ever tried has weighed my hair down, made it gross oily, or given it that 90s hypergel crunchy look. This stuff is perfect. It's lightweight. You don't need to use much. It smells nice. It ACTUALLY PROTECTS MY HAIR?? Like my hair is not splitting as much because the gel kind of "encases" it??? But I still get beautiful full curls! No frizz, no oily, and the crunchy scrunches out beautifully with your hands after it dries. Seems to play well with my hair oil and hairspray as well. Absolutely worth every penny.

I have been searching for a product like this for yearssss. If I could give this more than five stars I would. I have loose waves but tend toward frizz especially in the summer humidity. This gives me the perfect definition to my curls without making them crunchy, sticky, or weighed down. Even on day two I am able to just dampen my hair slightly and *maybe* add one pump more *if* it even needs it and my hair looks great. I generally don't take the time to write reviews but this product deserves it. Don’t hesitate, buy it.

This paired with the icreate hold? chef's kiss for my daughter's coily curls! Make sure you use A LOT of water as it doesn't dry out then. My daughter gets compliments all the time on how great her curls look and it's all because of this, the icreate hold and the icreate finish spray! They work wonders on her curls and keep them so hydrated and soft without weighing them down like some of those other products you buy at walmart and target that claim to help curls.

I think this just became my favorite hair product ever. I love the hold, and the fact that my curls last all day, and by day 2 i just have to dampen my hair a bit to bring them back. Not a lot of frizz, especially since I live in a humid are. Since I have fine hair, I don't use too much. I will say it is rather small for how much it costs. One of my most expensive products, but I'll have to make it last.

Update 5/25/2025: I just bought the 64 oz refill pouch. This is my main gel. Used with a lot of water. It's very moisturizing believe it or not. I style my hair dripping wet. And I put on about five pumps of this in the shower or under a spray, work it through and then add water and work it through each strand. Then over that I add another gel and do the same thing — either I Create Definition, I Create Lift, I Create Volume, or Olaplex Number 9 Serum which is really moisturizing. The key is not to stint on water. Use this product without enough water and it really is very stiff. Not that great. With water, it's perfect. And even with my hair dripping wet it only takes half an hour or less to diffuse because I'm not using oils or creams. Update: added photo Original review: The only issue I have with Innersense styling products is that I never know which one to use because they're all pretty great. It mostly depends on the length of my hair. I tend to use a combination of two whichever ones I use. This product I got the hookup from my hair stylist as is usual with Innersense. And it's really nice. I have to keep my hair short now because as I age it has thinned. And with short hair I need a stronger curl hold. If I don't have it, I have to refresh the curls with a little damp water + product every 2- 3 days. When my hair was longer I could go for up to a week without refreshing it with water, just a little cream or a tiny bit of oil to smooth. What I like about this product is that it gives me more hold, tighter and better than I Create Hold. The feel is stiffer, but I don't really mind that. I don't have to use a lot, in fact, the less the better. It doesn't pay to use more. It works best if I use a little Quiet Calm Curl Control, or the Inner Peace cream as a leave in underneath it. I'm rating it four stars only because I haven't used it for very long. It's definitely 4.5 at this point.

Great product, as always

I learned about this product when I was trying to figure out how to have better curls in my hair. My favorite curly stylist says that if it doesn't cast it's not going to last and this is perfect for creating a good curl cast. I put this on when my hair is wet and then I squeeze my hair with a towel to help dry it. This creates a crunchy cast but once the hair dries, you can squish it with your fingers and break the cast. The curls look soft and gorgeous and last for days. It was reasonably priced and has a good light scent to it. I don't need to use that much product on my hair, maybe one pump full but I have mid-length hair. I am very happy with my purchase!

I really wanted to love this product, but it just wasn't for me. I've been using the Paul Mitchell Super Sculpt styling glaze for over 20 yrs, since I was a teenager, but they've changed the formula so much in recent years and with the latest change, it was just time to love on to something else. I have long, very dry and porous curly hair with different types of curls. Soft and silky/loose at the bottom, dry ringlets on my crown and even some 4c around my face. I need something flexible but that will give me a good hold and keep frizz at bay. This gel leaves my hair super crunchy and hard and a quite dry. I applied it as others have suggested, with the hair very wet, but honestly, it's not my preferred method of styling my hair. I tried applying less product and still, had the same results. It did take away some of the excessive volume. I think it's best for someone looking for extreme hold/ control of their curls. The consistency of the product is a thick gel and the opposite to a water based gel which is what I'm looking for. The value for money also just doesn't do it for me

This is amazing for my fine curly hair. You don’t need a lot and I usually only use this after conditioning my hair. The curls look amazing it really defines them and it stops any frizz! I’ve tried too many products and this is by far the best!
