Helps Cervicogenic Headaches
Very helpful when these types of headaches bother you. I've had them constantly for several months. I try to do this at least once a day for 10 minutes and you get about 80% relief.

neck decompression made easy!
As someone with a herniated disc in my neck, I was going to PT and a Chiro for months and using a decompression machine. I was looking for a long-term sustainable solution at home so I could continue to decompress my disc without the Chiro visits and costs. After one use of the neck hammock, I can say that this device does what it says. It is not quite the same as the professional decompression, but definitely gets a similar relief to the neck area and can feel the pressure release for sure. Excited to add this to my at-home care routine!

Might just work but not great yet
The product arrived in less than 24 hours!I've been using a home made neck traction device suggested by my physical therapist (a sling made from a towel and a Thera-band) for a couple of years and with some padding it has been helpful. I was so hoping that this one, designed by a PT would function even better but I'm having trouble getting it to work. Some problems so far: the foam padding presses really hard on my cheeks, to the point of pain. Also, where I could get what I felt was "just the right stretch" with my home-made sling, I'm still struggling finding the "sweet spot" with this one. There's the pressure on my cheeks and not finding the "ahhhh" position no matter the height or angle of this device. If I can get some help with my concerns, I'm prepared to like/love it and will send another review. If not, I might have to return it.

Worth every penny
6 years later (yes 6) and this is still the best $50 I ever spent. Use this all the time. Take it with me to travel. It has done wonders for my base of skull, neck and (even a little for my jaw) pain. 100% recommend give this a try. Great quality- has held up perfectly. If I lost it I would repurchase immediately. It's that good.

Worst Fear Realized - Extremely Dangerous Product!
The very FIRST time I used this, 20 seconds into using it per the instructions, the strap broke, my head smacked the ground, the plastic clip that spaces the two straps apart struck the bridge of my nose, and the straps struck my eyelids all with such force that it dazed me for few seconds. Just from where the straps struck me I continued to ache for the rest of the day.Just before this happened I was thinking, "wow I really hope this thing is well made or its going to snap and hit me in the eyes." Luckily I had JUST closed my eyes while attemping to 'relax' into it, and I am extremely fortunate to have thick carpeted floors or I would have been concussed worse than I was. I have suffered from several concussions and whiplash events in my life and I am extremely vulnerable to them now (hence why I bought this product, looking for head and neck pain relief to begin with!!)I am also extremely lucky it didnt break my nose or take out an eye (my worst fear in life).I don't know how I missed so many 1-star reviews all saying the exact same attachment point failed and this happened to them! This thing is a lawsuit waiting to happen. It's criminally negligent for them to not over-engineer the potential fail points for something with such a high risk assigned to it in the first place, but then with so many reviews all saying this exact same thing, they know about this issue and they continue to still sell it as such, knowing people are being severely hurt by it!

Good neck stretch
The neck hammock works well. Getting the correct tension to stretch the neck is easy to do. Quality material and comfortable to use. Instructions provided with the product are minimal. Best to watch a few YouTube videos for proper use or talk to your PT.

Lack of a hammock cradle to hang traction device
Whilst the theory behind the Neck Hammock is sound, it is let down in its practical application by the lack of a metal cradle or stand from which the hammock can be attached and hung. It is acknowledged that the hammock can be hung from a door handle or railing however a practical and suitable location which is without impediments is sometimes difficult to find to effectively hang the hammock from. The availability of a support in the form of a cradle or stand would overcome this problem and make the product far more user friendly and ensure the device could be used from any location. Interestingly, a cheaper knock off or copy of the neck hammock has such a supporting cradle and it is easy to see that it is far more user friendly and practical than the neck hammock which does not have a similar support or cradle available.

Not as durable as expected
Works well. The stretch bands starts giving way after a month of usage.Worried that it may snap eventually hence had stopped using it.
User
The pads at the temple and nape of neck need to be removed
The pads in the hammock create pressure that is not comfortable if used according to the manufacturers direction
