I've been baking bread for many years and always struggled with getting even slices.I tried a good bread knife with one of those bread guides where you corral the bread and slice down thru the slots. Plastic guide got chewed up from knife. Tried a wooden and metal one, but that wasn't much better. Discovered this little gem and I am so happy with it. Suction cups hold it steady,the blade is very sharp, the crank works well and I can slice nice thin sandwich slices. Instructions on using it are non-existent. You have to figure it out as you go. I'd like to know if the blade can be replaced in time but there was nothing to indicate that. I just got it so I don't know how it will hold up but for now I am thrilled with it.

I purchased this atom because the bread slicer that I currently have it. Just never really gave me the look that I wanted with homemade bread.For me personally, this item was well worth the money because it slices bread beautifully, even the bread that I buy at the grocery store in the Delhi sections. Every slice is the perfect width that I choose based on adjustment tool on the base of the slicer. It's not for kids to use. It is sharp, but I love this product.

Got this as a Mother’s Day gift for my sourdough making MIL. It was a HIT!!! She absolutely loved it. The only complaint was that the suction to the counter top wasn’t strong enough, it kind of slides when you cut the bread. Other than that it works amazing. Such a cute and functional addition to the kitchen!

i Absolutely LOVE this bread cutter. And believe me I have been through MANY different types of slicers. It comes completely assembled. I would recommend you use an anti cut glove when SLOWLY feeding the bread through the slicer. I love the "U" shaped clip that holds the bread up under the crank, which is something the other similar cutters do not have. A nice touch. If I had one this to say it would be there are no "hash" marks or inches marked on the dial but that is not a big deal for me. I found the right size and put a quick hash mark to show the best slice size for me. Highly recommend!

Works great and gets the job done. Very easy to use, highly recommend. Tried a more expensive one that my friend owns (worth about $200) and it works the same. Great value for the price.

If you have a second person to hold it and keep it from slipping on the counter, and if you can raise it up on a second cutting board, it works fine. There is a bolt underneath that is too long, and the suction cups do not hold it in place, so it left a long scratch on our marble countertops. Hoping we just got a lemon.

Works great and able to cut bread thin to thick, and in between, with just a turn of the knob.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Holy suction cup! These suction cups keeps the slicer in place so well I have a hard time moving it. 4 stars because I wish it was easier to buy and replace the blade when it dulls over time. For bread it works much better than my pro electric meat slicer that swears it slices bread fantastically; it doesn’t. This hand crank slicer is the way to go.
