I got cuz my oven broke for Thanksgiving. So I bought this anywhere. Amazing. Need to cook the turkey.,

I purchased this primarily to cook a turkey for Thanksgiving. The turkey was 19# and according to the thermometer (a separate purchase), it was "done" in about 2 hours. I did turn it down and left it in for about another 1/2 hour but it was actually done. The "self-basting" worked like a charm and the clean-up was incredibly fast. I had intended to spray the inside of the roaster before cooking, but forgot. Still the clean-up was a breeze. I'm going to try other meats and possible bake in it, but so far, this was well worth the money!

Smelled hot first use, thought just Bexar it was new. 2nd and 3rd uses, the temp gauge did not regulate the temp and was boiling hot even on the lowest setting. Tossed a I was afraid of it starting a fire

Looks good. Got it today. Have not used it yet. Where is the warranty on this item? It said it had a warranty. Does anyone know how to get the warranty in case it has a problem later?

Excellent product. Cook perfectly and is made well with great features for the price. Bought this for holiday cooking for family get together at Air B&B's or for extra cooking capacity at home. Highly recommend.

This roaster was awesome for everything from roasted chicken to broth to jam & applesauce. I bought it in March, used it once or twice a month, and in November the heating element broke. Really disappointed that it lasted such a short time.
