Q: How long does the calm effect last?

The effects can range from a few hours to the entire day depending on the individual, their diet, & the circumstances. The suggested use is two capsules once daily, with a meal or as directed by your doctor. However we have had some users who prefer to split the serving into two portions (such as one in the morning and one in the afternoon) and report positive sustained results taking one capsule twice daily. Ashwagandha in large dosages has the opposite effect of relaxing you. In large dosages it highly increases your energy causing you to be more awake. I think the purpose for it in this particular supplement was for the relaxation
