L'Oreal Paris Makeup Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara, Voluptuous Volume, Intense Length, Feathery Soft Full Lashes, No Flaking, No Smudging, No Clumping, Blackest Black, 0.25 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)

To start, I've tried many high end mascaras such as Lancome Hypnose Drama, Benefit They're Real and Rollerlash, Too Faced BTS, Urban Decay Perversion etc, but none of them compare to this mascara. I have monolids so I have the straight Asian lashes that never holds a curl no matter what... until I used this mascara. This mascara volumizes, lengthens, and holds a curl for most of the day with minimal to no flaking/smudging despite the Texas heat, humidity and my oily lids. Example, this mascara survived a trip to the zoo in sunny 90+ degree weather with high levels of humidity and sweat. Not even one flake or smudge! Even when I don't curl my lashes, this mascara makes it look like I did. Also, it's pretty easy to remove with my holy grail Lancome Bi-facil eye makeup remover, but other oil-based removers should do the same job. I suggest using a cotton pad w/ remover and letting the remover sit on the lashes for a bit to help break it up so you won't have to rub your eyes too much if you have difficulty. To sum it up, I really love what this mascara does for my lashes and for the price. Update #2 5/6/2018: Bought this mascara for the third time and product has stayed consistent in performance as the first and second tube. However, I must note that at least for me, the mascara lasted about 4-5 months before starting to clump and dry out (dipping into the mascara 2 times every use). Specifically, the formula is still noticeably wet albeit drier than when first opened, but has noticeable clumps on the lashes when looking up close. Not a bad thing as it is suggested to throw out your mascara every 3 months or so for sanitary reasons, but just a factor if you're like me and tend to try to extend usage of a product. Lash Paradise continues to be my HG mascara!

I used Max Factor Volume Couture Waterproof Mascara for decades till they discontinued the Max Factor line in the US years ago. Been floundering for a decent replacement ever since. I did find one that worked really well, but of course, it, too, was discontinued after I'd settled in to a nice routine with it. Now, after more years of trials and (all) errors from oh so many brands, too many to mention, I think I've finally found another really good replacement in L'Oreal Lash Paradise Waterproof Mascara. At package opening, I was off-put by the size of the brush -- it seemed huge, waay too big for my not so large eyes. I'd never used a brush so large and shaped like this. But, what the heck, I took a deep breath and forged ahead. So glad I did! I admit that it took me a few days to learn how to maneuver the brush to accomplish just the right result. I've got some arthritis in my hands which didn't help any, but I finally got the technique right. And it only takes seconds. Seems like I expend less time and effort into applying Lash Paradise. And now every day, I walk around with lovely long, curled, luxurious, voluminous lashes. You'd never suspect that hidden underneath was only a few sparse, thin, short set of a redhead's skimpy lashes! The waterproof formula stays put, too. No clumping or flecking off. I've even gotten away with a second wear day, sometimes running a dry eyelash brush through to refresh. But it does come off with a good moisturizing facial cleanser or remover when you're ready to remove it. Oh, I almost forgot.. as a redhead, I'm allergic to thousands of things, including the bases of many brands of mascaras. Thankfully, I have had absolutely zero allergy issues with this. Please, if you're thinking of ordering this, do yourself a favor and go for it! I promise you, you won't be sorry!

I've heard for years how this is THE mascara that you need in your makeup collection, but I found myself reaching for another that I really loved. However, I ended up purchasing this last summer and have to say that for the most part this mascara does live up to the hype around it. My eyelashes are pretty sparce from my rubbing them all the time and pulling on them, but you could actually TELL I have lashes while wearing this. The length was astounding and it did not clump, making me look like I had black gunk sitting on my lashes and weighing them down. I did not need a second application, but I did it anyway just to make them look even more full. I wore this to a recent wedding and it never budged, even with all of the crying I did. When they say it's the blackest black, they're not kidding. The wand is pliable and glides on effortlessly, but it is not my favorite. Personally I prefer skinny wands in order to not poke myself in the eye repeatedly while trying to put mascara on my barely there lower lashes. It IS hard to remove, however, or at least it was for me. I'd still recommend this to everyone looking for a mascara that lives up to what people say about it.

This is my FAVORITE mascara. As in, I’ve ordered it well over 100 times. For reference, I have long, straight and thin lashes that do not hold a curl and get weighed down by most mascaras. This holds my curl for over 12 hours (after curling with a lash curler). I love that it delivers a very dramatic lash look with just a few coats. It’s very black and gives a ton of volume and some length. It’s hard to remove but I use the Korean mascara removers and it comes off so easily with those. I’m a professional makeup artist and use this for a lot of my bridal clients too!

Took this mascara with me on a trip that involved daily water activities (swimming, surfing, snorkeling, etc.). Cons: -It's not really waterproof, mascara came off each time I came out of the water even with low/minimal water activity like a quick dip in a pool and it came off. -The formula was a little gunky/clumpy. I tend to use a lash comb anyway, so that helped with separating out my lashes. -The wand shape made it difficult to get all my lashes, especially inner and outer lashes. Pros: -Didn't smudge a whole lot and leave me with raccoon eyes. Even if the mascara came off after water exposure, it didn't leave huge smudge marks under my eyes. Was there a little bit of smudge? Yes. But it wasn't all that bad when comparing this product with other mascaras I've tried. -As most waterproof mascara formulas do, this kept the curl in my lashes. Which is great for my straight downward tilting lashes. -Fairly easy to remove mascara with makeup wipes. -Doesn't make lashes crunchy or dried out due to waterproof formulation. -For the price, it was a decent mascara. Neither pro nor con: -Wasn't as black as I would have expected? Not that I was going for this mascara based on how black it would be, so it wasn't a huge let down or anything. Was just an observation. For the price, this mascara is fine for everyday wear (since it comes off fairly easy) especially for someone seeking to hold the curl in their lashes. Honestly, I probably won't repurchase. Since I was trying to find a good waterproof formula, it really didn't work out for me. Will try out others instead.

I really like the L’Oréal Waterproof Paradise Mascara. It gives my lashes amazing volume and makes them look full and lifted without smudging throughout the day. The only downside is that it can get a bit clumpy if you’re not careful. I fix that by running an eyelash separator through my lashes right after applying, and it works perfectly. Once separated, the lashes look beautiful and stay put all day. Overall, a great mascara if you love bold, voluminous lashes!

Because of the reviews I was panicked , that if I got the wrong or duplicate product . But it isn't the case . I've used it for very long time that's why it's a lil old 😂 in the pictures It was a very good product . And holds massively . Your lashes gonna look as if you've have fake lashes or something but it doesn't look fake at all . I'm using it for 7-8 months now and it's still the same . I liked this but it's a lil clumpy and don't put water after applying cz it's gonna become clumpy even more will be difficult to remove. I'll recommend use baby oil / coconut oil gently rubbing on your lashes it will be much easier to remove . Don't directly put the micellar water(oil based/water) it will not give a good result as the oils will do . In my opinion .
