I bought these for 2 reasons: my dog hates walking on a wet patio and his allergies have been making him chew his feet a lot! These shoes fit him great, he's a 35-40lb dog. At first, he didn't know how to walk in them, but once I coaxed him to move around and gave lots of treats he did well. He still looks totally defeated, but they're doing the job. They also really helped protect his feet for a few hours while we were hanging around the house and he wanted to keep chewing on his feet. I did try them on my other, larger dog, who promptly chewed the velcro off of one of the shoes to get them off his feet, so apparently, they're not for heavy chewers who have a mind of their own! I like the rubber bottom for our concrete patio though, so overall they were a good purchase for what I needed.

I bought these after my dog was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy, which was causing her to scuff the tops of her back feet and quick her nails. They have good grip, which gives some stability on my hardwood floors, and so far they seem to be pretty durable. I will say, they aren't waterproof, she's walked through wet grass and it soaked her fur underneath, but that's not really an issue for me. My girl doesn't seem to mind wearing them one bit, and seems to be walking well in them, she's also used to me putting socks on her when she injures her feet. They also stay on well, despite her dragging them across the pavement. I will absolutely buy these again!

Really like these shoes and bought them regularly for our older dog who passed away. They have good grip and traction and they're relatively easy to put on. I really appreciate that they have two straps to keep them secure and the velcro makes it adjustable. I'll also add that the bottoms of them never wore out on us even with daily walks on concrete. If your dog has DSM or drags their feet however, the tops do wear out because it's made of canvas fabric. Even so, a pair of these would last us a few weeks at least and that was with our pup dragging her hind leg constantly on concrete and inside. If you think about it they actually help up well and the thickness of the soles is great. Also dogs just look very cute in these.

I was unsure about purchasing these because I did not know how my dog (75lb Labradoodle)would react, but we were taking a trip and would be walking long distances on asphalt. I figured it was worth a try because our dog is happier with us than being boarded. (And we are happier too!) I measured his feet, using the suggestions in one of the comments to trace around his paws on paper. I ordered, crossing my fingers that I had the right size. When they came, we did a dry run around the house to ensure the fit. He looked like a Clydesdale horse walking until he got used to them. It was quite humorous. We took them on the trip, and they were perfect. We always get lots of attention because our dog is quite handsome, but the shoes made him a movie star. Everyone wanted to stop and ask about the shoes, some even wanted to take a picture. We have used them once or twice since then, and after a moment to get used to them again, he does fine. I can not speak to how they will do in cold weather as it is still hot here. The only thing I don't like is that the velcro fasteners are super sticky, catching everything they come in contact with (when they aren't on the dog's feet). I keep them in the box they came in, and all is well!

This is probably a suitable and very good product for many dogs and many (outdoor) uses. The shoes seem to be really durable, which is why I bought them. But, with our dogs and with indoor use, we encountered two big practical problems: 1. As it turns out, both of our dogs' front feet are larger than their back feet by a full size. We bought shoes that fit the bigger feet, but those shoes quickly and repeatedly fall off of the smaller feet. That problem is conceptually navigable, as we could just buy two sets of different-sized shoes for each dog. But, that's obviously suboptimal, and since the shoes all look alike, it would be annoying to keep track of which pair of shoes go on which dog and which feet on that dog. 2. We bought these shoes for indoor use. We had our hardwood floors resurfaced, the contractor recommended that our dogs wear something on their feet for 30 days while the coating cures, and we've continued to have the dogs wear something. That said, on these shoes, the hooks of the Velcro are outward facing and exposed. So, when the dog sits or lays down on a throw rug or mat (a) the Velcro sticks to the rug or mat, and (b) when the dog gets up, either the shoe will come off, or worse, the Velcro frays (damages) the rug or mat. This was ultimately the dealbreaker for us. This issue could be remedied by a change in the design, but right now, it's a big problem. If you're using these things outside, it probably isn't an issue.
