I’ve been testing out different essential oils for my home, and Handcraft Blends Frankincense is a standout. When you're trying to find a balance between "affordable" and "high quality," this is exactly where you want to be.Here is a breakdown of my experience:• Secure Packaging & Delivery: One of my biggest pet peeves is receiving oils that have leaked in transit. I was happy to see that this arrived properly sealed with a clear tamper-evident cap. It also comes in a dark amber glass bottle, which is crucial for protecting the oil’s potency from light degradation.• The Scent Profile: This has a beautiful, authentic Frankincense aroma—earthy, resinous, and grounded. It doesn't have that harsh, synthetic "chemical" spike that you often find in lower-priced oils. It smells exactly like the premium "boutique" brands I've used in the past.• Premium Glass Dropper: The included glass dropper is high quality and fits the bottle perfectly. It allows for precise, drop-by-drop measurement, which is great because a little bit of this oil goes a long way.• True Versatility: I’ve used this in my ultrasonic diffuser and also diluted it with a carrier oil for topical use. It blends smoothly without leaving a sticky residue, confirming its purity.The Verdict: Between the professional packaging and the rich scent, it’s clear Handcraft Blends cares about the details. For the price point, the value is unbeatable. Definitely a thumbs up from me! 👍

Wonderful earthy scent and quality oil. Unfortunately, my skin had a reaction to it, so I can’t continue use. However, I would still recommend it to anyone who can safely use this oil because it is a most definitely a quality oil!

I purchase a LOT of essential oils from Amazon, from a myriad of different businesses, and I have to write, without a doubt, Handcraft Blends' packaging is above standard, offering excellent protection against leakage and breaking.As is fairly standard, the dropper and the bottle were kept separate. The bottle cap was the standard oil cap with the plastic insert offing a great seal, and the bottle and cap were heat sealed with an outer plastic layer that was easy to remove. The dropper and bottle came packaged in a very tight, solid cardboard box that was thicker than most. There was no leakage whatsoever.Five-star rating: The essential oil itself didn't smell as powerful as a resinous oil should smell. The weaker smell could be because of dilution, volatility, quality, or oxidation. The label indicates no other ingredients, so it wasn't dilution, and the seal was perfect, so not volatility or oxidation. That leaves quality and purity. The color was golden, as it should be, and because of the price, I'm leaning toward quality. That is NOT to say the oil is low-quality - only that it's lower quality than the more expensive brands, which is to be expected, and completely acceptable.NOTE: I also purchased rosehip seed oil, lavender oil, and peppermint oil. While this review is specifically for the frankincense, the review applies to all other oils, with the exception of the lavender oil. The lavender oil is easily on par with the more expensive absolutely distillations, and should probably get a 6th star.Handcraft blends has become my go-to essential oil supplier, with whom I have only two issues: they don't offer the range of essential oils my business requires, and they don't offer the variety of quantities I look for when "trying out" new essential oils or new formulations.I will purchase from Handcraft Blends again. There's something to be said about the care in packaging, especially with larger businesses cutting corners are delivering half-empty bottles without compunction (I'm lookin' at you Gya!). Moreover, I can handle a lower quality essential oil, since I don't use them for their aromatherapeutic properties, especially when it still delivers its natural skincare benefits.

Is it for my lotion. I like it but next time I think I will buy one that is a stronger strength type. But the smell was like frankincense.

Frankincense is known for its skin tightening properties. I mix it with a carrier oil like almond, coconut, jojoba or even castor oil before using it on my skin or in a lotion. I like the dropper that it comes with and on a full squeeze I was able to get a good 3rd of the amount and it renders over 20 drops so that is truly more than plenty for what I need on a single application. It is clear and has a lovely scent. I do not use it directly on my skin. I use it with a lotion or carrier oil and always test it on my skin first. I love the skin tightening properties and use it with castor oil a lot on my abdominal area. It is a great price for 4 oz bottle. I applied it to my knees and took a pic with and without a flash to show how great it applies to my skin.

I purchased this frankincense essential oil to make my own beef tallow balm, and I’m very happy with it. The scent is pleasant without being overpowering, and it blended really well with the other ingredients.A little goes a long way, and the quality seems excellent. It gave my homemade balm a nice, natural fragrance without affecting the texture. If you’re making your own skincare products or DIY body balms, I think this is a great option.

Have had very good success with this product. I apply it directly to my aching shoulder and it quick acting. Could last a little longer but I still give it five stars for the instance relief it provides

Pure oil. Smells great. Nice bottle. Nice dropper. Would buy again when needed.

Everything is perfect except with the cap extractor. It couldn’t be capped properly causing oil spillage.

I absolutely love this frankincense essential oil. The scent is beautiful, rich but not overpowering, and I find it very soothing for my aching muscles. I mix a few drops with coconut oil and apply it all over my body (avoiding my face), and it works wonderfully.The bottle is a generous size, so it should last a long time. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and will definitely be buying it again.

Smells lovely i mix it with castor oil and use it as a moisturiser
