My daughter absolutely loves this toy, I have a little star mobile projector that I put in her room at night for her to go to sleep instead of using the TV and I let her play with this and she loves it. I turn her lights off and make her a little tent from blankets and she just loves to play with it, the light is not super bright like a typical flashlight which I imagine is intentional so that should they shine it in the eyes it is no cause for concern. This is one of those toys that will never get old, she will play with it every day for a few weeks, then it ends up behind her bed or something then I fish it out and it's like a brand new toy, the happy dance she does when I pull it out from where ever it was misplaced is testament to the joy she receives from playing with it. I highly recommend getting 2 or 1 and a cheaper light like I have to play with your kid with it, you can use it to illustrate principals of reflection, or use it and tell spooky stories in a tent.

This is a great baby flashlight! Got it for my daughter who always wants my flashlight and she loves it. With this one, there are two options, a light option where you hold the button on the handle to turn of the flashlight (turning the front just changes colors and the buttons make a music note noise) or the play option which are songs and turning the front to find things. We usually stick with the light option right now. I would say there are one and a half cons. It feels like cheaper plastic. It hasn’t broken yet but it seems like it will sooner than the other toy flashlight I looked at. The half would be the sound. It is VERY quiet. I read reviews talking about how quiet it was but didn’t think much of it. I was very shocked when I first turned it on. By far the quietest toy I ever heard. There isn’t a volume option on it. I say it is only a half con because sometimes the quieter a toy is the better. Over all I am very happy with this product and would recommend getting it.

Great little clash light. It’s fun for my ten month baby grandson. It’s not heavy and it’s made of durable plastic material. The battery life lasts long but it depends on how often it’s used.
