what comes with a new battery tender

The 4 station Battery Tender includes 4 cords (5 foot I think) with positive and negative alligator clips, 4 cords for bolting to a battery for maintenance charging. The station has 4 built in 5 foot extension cords as well. I bought an additional long extension cord for reaching one motorcycle that I store some distance from the charger. So far, after a year's use, it was a great investment since my single cord Battery Tender just didn't give me enough flexibility to work on all my vehicles.

Is there a reason to buy this instead of 4 Battery Tender Juniors (at $23/each, they would cost $92 instead of $154 for this)

I am not sure that the Battery Tender Junior has the sophisticated electronics that the 4 up Battery Tender Plus does.  I have been able to keep 4 ea. 27 size deep cycle batteries at maximum voltage and CCA for two years since I got my 4 up unit.  I believe that the Battery Tender Juniors are designed more for smaller batteries.  You would have to talk to the people at Deltran for a more detailed answer to your question as I am not an electrical engineer.  I really like my 4 up unit.

can this charge my 200ah 12V AGM battery and how long?

Yes, this will charge AGM batteries.  Yes, it will charge them even if they are high-capacity.  However, with a maximum charge rate of 1.25 amps, charging a completely discharged 200 amp-hour battery would take 160 hours (6 and 2/3 days).  This is primarily designed to be a float charger when things are in storage for a long period of time.  While it is technically capable of fully charging a dead battery, it will take a long time to do so.  If you plan to be recharging 200 amp-hour batteries from zero, you are better off with something like a Schumacher bench charger that can deliver a charge rate of at least 10 amps (a 10-amp charge rate will recharge a completely empty 200 amp-hour battery in 20 hours).  If you really want guaranteed overnight recharges of a high-capacity deep-cycle battery, you'll probably prefer having a 20-amp charge rate (or higher) option on the bench charger.

how hot does this unit get? Looking at putting it inside a pelican case, as I do not have a garage. Want to make sure it will not over heat during use

I have had it connected to four motorcycles for 5 + months and it is cool to the touch on all sides.  The unit temp appears to hover around 60 degrees in my shop.
