GRANITESTONE 11" Non-Stick Frying Pan with Mineral/Diamond Coating for Long Lasting Nonstick Skillet for Cooking with Stay Cool Handles, Oven/Dishwasher Safe, Non-toxic

I purchased this pan in December 2018 and waited a few months to post my review. Upon receipt of the pan, I was a bit alarmed at how light weight it was, figured it wouldn't be a quality pan. I was wrong, this light-weight pan is the best non-stick pan I've had, and I've had many types & brands. This pan was a replacement for a much heavier weight, expensive branded ceramic pan that was junk after only a couple of years of use. This pan is great, but the "commercial" about not having to use butter or oil is just flat-out wrong. Eggs, in particular, absolutely REQUIRE the use of a pat of butter, if you are looking to cook w/o added fat this is not the pan for you. I have cooked/sautéed many, many things in this pan, and it still looks brand new, but when I am cooking eggs of any type or veggies I always use either butter or a little bit of EVOO. Cooking ground meat doesn't require the added butter or oil as typically there is enough fat in the meat to have it not stick. When cooking or browning boneless/skinless chicken or turkey breast, I do use a bit of oil just be sure it won't stick. I've never had to do anything other than rinse the pan, then hand wash it with Dawn - it's been super easy to clean EVERY time I've used it and it has no scratches after dozens of uses, full disclosure - I've never used a metal utensil on it, I have plenty of wood/plastic/silicone utensils, so that hasn't been tested with me - I just wouldn't use metal on any pan, really - another thing that the "commercial" is exaggerating - I would not want to use a knife to cut something while it was in the pan, that's just asking for trouble. I am legit back on Amazon to get another of these pans to replace yet another ceramic one that has turned to junk, and literally went in the trash today....

I bought this brand based on “project farm” YouTube channel recommendation. It wasn’t the exact model tested, but I said why not give it a try. When I first received the package, little bit over a week ago,, the frying pan felt a little light and was perceived as flimsy. I don’t think that way now after having used it. I rather like the light construction. I cooked couple eggs immediately, and boy was I surprised. This pan is truly a non- stick. I tried cooking them with minimal oil. The eggs did not stick at all. I hope it stays this way long term. I also like the pan’s design shape. It is made, at least in my opinion, to easily enable flipping food without using a spatula - just be careful not to have too much oil in the pan as it splatters the oil during the flip (personal experience). And because the Pan is constructed with light aluminum, it is easy to handle. Again, this is my personal experience. Also, 11” size was prefect for me, not too small and not too big. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the product at this point (1 week in). I would buy this again if this product lasts more than couple of years.

Its a terrific pan, rated highly, tougher than most, you can use metal utensils and dishwasher safe. Sad that it doesn't sit flat. I dont know if we didn't follow directions

I've been hearing about how unhealthy teflon pans are for years so I decided to try one of these out. So far I've been pleasantly surprised. It's always easy to clean with minimal scrubbing. The only difference I've noticed is they don't handle high heat well. My stove malfunctioned one day, and despite setting it to medium heat, I came back a minute later to find the stove to be glowing red. I had butter in the pan and was waiting for it to melt to fry eggs. The butter left this brown stain on the pan that wouldn't come off for weeks, and food would stick in that spot. It eventually came off with use, but I wasn't able to scrub it off.

Ordered this some time ago. Great pan and we use it a lot. No issues.

I purchased this pan for my Boy Scout Troop a few months ago. The scouts are hard on the equipment and this still looks great after three camping trips covering nine days. It doesn't get used on a daily basis, but it does get used when we go camping. The scouts crank up heat on the propane stove as high as possible for cooking and then do a poor job washing and cleaning afterwards. The food remnants come off quickly and easily from this pan. We don't have long term experience with this specific pan, but I also purchased one of these a few years ago for the adult leaders. The adults do a better job with heat control and clean up. That pan looks terrific and still performs great!

It's my go to everyday frying pan. Excellent!

I purchased this pan Nov 11 2018. It is now July 17 2019, I specifically waited a long time to review this pan because I wanted to give it the test of time and day to day use of cooking. This pan has been amazing since day one, the build quality, the design of the handle, the aesthetics, the functionality, everything. Everyone in my family has been loving it, especially my sister who recently went on a diet which she had to cut oil from her cooking for chicken and eggs and everything. Everyone knows when you cook eggs or chicken without oil on a pan, It is going to stick no question about that.. That is where GRANITEROCK comes in.. This pan is probably one of few as seen on TV products that doesn't lie in their exaggerated infomercials, I put through all the tests and it reigned supreme, some crumbs and residue might stick but minimal amount but the cleaning of this pan only requires light scrubbing and everything comes off with ease, no hassle with cleaning.. The handle is designed smart that it doesn't give off heat when you hold it, it keeps cool to the touch no matter what. After this pan came out a lot of big household companies that we know like T-FAL and CUISINE-ART made their own but this one is the OG and really is the best, don't waste your time and money on the others. I will include a video of cooking eggs on the GRANITEROCK with ZERO oil added, watch it glide off the pan with no residue or left over egg. It's quite amazing and this was after a 8 months of ownership, it still does it like the first day I got it. Get this pan, you won't be disapointed.

Pan is amazing. Very easy to clean. But be careful about making any mistakes and burning things, as any hard to remove stains run the risk of requiring rougher cleaning which will take the finish off and ruin the pan, or require a lot of effort to clean with no damage. Keep out of reach of dull tool family members who refuse to treat pans with special coatings correctly. (Do Not boil eggs in this pan...)

This is a quality item and great provided you are not using an induction hob as it does not work on them contrary to Amazon’s description. Have had no choice but to return item but with another hob type would have been delighted with it

The fryings pans are unusable because they are not suitable for an induction stovetop. The information on Amazon's website states that they are compatible with an induction stovetop. Based on Amazon's information, I purchased two pans only to find that they would not work on our induction stovetop. The seller would not accept a return understandably because they did not advertise that they were suitable for an induction stovetop. Thus, we are left with two unusable pans. It should be noted that we previously purchased a frying pan from Amazon that was not suitable for an induction stovetop and Amazon readily accespted a return.
