Very sturdy trap and easy to install. Have had it up for 2 weeks and caught 9 carpenter bees. It definitely helps to use some kind of bait. I just killed one with a shoe and put it in there and they flock to it. I recommend filling the holes around the trap to encourage them to go in.

Very easy to assemble and clean out once you start catching bee's. Only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5 is it is a little on the high side

This works great. Already has a wood bee that n it. We’ve had a problem with them boring holes in our deck. Just put it up.

This does not work at all!!! The 2 pics show the trap in 2 different places on my deck. You can see the saw dust and yuck from them still making holes into my deck. Glad I didn’t buy 2 of these like I had originally planned. I even bought the bee bait…..

This is a game changer! We have fought carpenter/wood bees for 15 years. This is the first effective trap we have ever used. We caught 27 bees the first week! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

I was really hopeful about this trap after reading the positive reviews. I’ve had it for about two months now. It did manage to catch one carpenter bee, so I know it can work—but that’s been the only catch so far. It may have been late in the season, so I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt there.My bigger concern is the build quality. The wood on the right side of the trap has already started peeling badly. For something that’s meant to be used outdoors, I expected it to hold up better—especially this soon after purchase. That kind of deterioration in such a short time is disappointing.I’m currently reaching out to the company to see if they’ll replace it. Will update if that goes anywhere. As of now, I can’t recommend it based on durability.

I was leery buying this. I used a little sugar water as bait and after a week one carpenter bee finally went in. After that one bee got inside and died, I had about 8 more within days. Great product that works! No more carpenter bees around our house.

It is a nice looking trap and easy to assemble and mount. It’s been up for a week now and so far it has not caught any bees. So I have to wait and see how it does as time goes by.
