G E Lighting 93886 GE2F40F34T12 Ballast

Arrived on time, installation was easy, fit in place of the old unit being replaced, worked, its only been. A few weeks since install but no issues yet, my only recommendation is if they could include the wire nuts as well it would be a one click deal, as wire nuts are required for replacing the original fixture.

The size and weight is nice and much smaller than what was in the fixture I was working on. The length is pretty standard so it should slip right in where the old one was removed.Please note that will you will need some screw wirenuts or crimp wirenuts as you will have to cut and strip the wires of the old ballast (I knows that goes without saying... but it shouldn't for those that haven't done it before) to connect this new unit.Yes, it's made in China, but everything from China isn't bad... and this appears to be good quality (time will tell so if you don't see a follow up to this review, you can feel comfortable that it is still working). A quick startup but I honestly didn't notice it being any faster than the other fixture in the same room; just an observation.The price seems fair enough. Definitely not the lowest price on this particular ballast but if you trust Amazon then buy this.From my experience if you need this right away, this might not be the best source for you as the timing is not always as promised.I would buy it again (this ballast) and have; from a different supplier.
