⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Deserves six stars! I needed a new waffle maker, and I wanted something that was ceramic or next generation diamond infused non-stick. I splurged on this, and so glad I did, also updated my grill while I was at it. Not a Belgian waffle but a good waffle maker nonetheless. Pluses that you can turn it on and off & lock feature so that the upper part doesn't open, really good when storing. Easy it is to clean- grilled chicken breasts with BBQ sauce, which left the grill black and burnt. Soaked it for 10 minutes and used a soft scrub brush and they were like new. Really amazing nonstick. Also makes really good grilled cheese sandwiches. One of my best and most used small kitchen appliances, highly recommend.

The inner plates allow for griddle and waffle and the ability to heat just the needed area (top or bottom or both). It also allows for locking the top and bottom together or holding them open a bit.

We have been so impressed with GreenPan (grill/waffle iron, and crock pot) that we are replacing our Cuisinart appliances with GreenPan. We avoid PTFE/PFOA treated appliances due to issues related to toxic fumes that can be produced by those (Teflon) chemicals that can be dangerous to birds (we have two Cockatoos). GreenPan not only provides an alternative to kitchen appliances that use those chemical treatments; they also are built as well as Kitchenaid and are reasonably priced. I would wholeheartedly recommend their products, especially to anyone who has birds in their home.

So I selected the BLUE because it was $100 cheaper! It really is pretty and for fun I made 3 meals one day using it. Waffles, Hamburgers & paninis . Perfection on all of them! I especially was impressed that you can adjust the lid to keep from pressing meats (losing juices). Hamburgers were medium rare - as we like them, at 4 minutes. The top and bottom can be heated to different temps. I just love all of the features and SO EASY TO CLEAN!!!! Love it.

absolutely love this. Replaced several old teflon appliances (press, waffle iron) with this one. Love that the ceramics are at least much better alternative to the teflon, and that I have it all in one appliance.
