Must have for M1 Garand.
Great piece for the Garand. It worked well and easy to install.

Mount does not fit out of the box.
The mount is slightly longer than the available space on either side of the bayonet lug on my Garand, and the lug will not slide into the mount as an expedient either. In short, it won't fit unless I modify either the lug or the mount with a file or Dremel.

Great Bipod Mount
Well made, fits like a glove, well thought out design. I bought one to give it a try and was so pleased I bought a second one. I’ve now got one installed on each of my M1 Garands.

Didn't fit my M1
Check the barrel length of your M1. I don't know how many different barrel lengths there are, but this would not fit my M1. (And no my M1 is not a tankers model.) Very dissapointed.
