My previous skull shaver (gold edition) was dropped breaking the plastic locking mechanism holding the blade assembly into the base. I decided to see if the silver version was that much different from the gold. I can say that it is definitely a downgrade. The motor doesn't seem as powerful and the battery life is definitely shorter. I would highly recommend upgrading to the gold edition if you can afford to.

As usual, I take the time to read all the 1 star reviews before leaping into a major purchase like this and I'm glad I did. What I surmized is that all the shavers you see here for $25 apparently have weenie batteries. I don't know about this one yet, give me a few weeks. My 5 head $25 razor died while I was using it so I was anxiously waiting for this new one with half a haircut. I see I can get a 5 head replacement that fits it, that's good because 4 heads just take too long and is kinda awkward getting in tight spaces. It had a charge right out of the box and went right work. I usually shave dry at my desk and it took some effort to get a close cut, so I'd give it a 6/10 on that. The motor is on the slow side and grabbed a moustache hair, which I didn't appreciate, so 5/10 on that. It's also pretty easy to clean if you have an air compressor. I won't be using it wet because I never trust anything that says it's waterproof. Let's see if it lasts a year!

Never again will I deal with razors and shaving cream! This shaver is amazing! I use it everyday, it takes about 90 seconds to do, easy to clean. My first one lasted 4 years and still works but it was time to upgrade. Great investment in self care

This is the 3rd head shaver I have owned, all from different brands. This one is by far the best out of the 3. I was surprised because out of the box nothing really seems “special” about it. It almost feels a little delicate. Oh but when you start cutting with it, everything changes. It glides through the hair effortlessly and leaves a very clean cut. It also is way less irritating on my skin than my other shavers. This was more expensive than my other shavers and I was very skeptical because of that. I now am very curious what I could be missing out on by not upgrading to the REALLY expensive version’s they have. Either way, this is a great little shaver. I used it every 24-48 hours and it has done great. Highly recommend.

This is actually the third Skull Shaver Pitbull I’ve purchased, so that should say a lot about how much I like this shaver. It makes shaving my head quick, easy, and much more convenient than using a traditional razor. The cordless design is great, and it gives me a close and comfortable shave. However, I have one frustrating issue with this model. The four metal rings on the front of the shaver are way too easy to come off. They can loosen and fall off during normal use or when cleaning the shaver. Since the rings are small, it’s also very easy to lose one. I’ve purchased three of these because I genuinely like the shaving performance, but I really wish the manufacturer would improve the way these four rings are attached. The shaver itself works great, but this issue keeps me from giving it 5 stars. Overall, I’m still happy with the product and will continue using it. If the metal rings were secured better, this would be an easy 5-star product for me.

Heb deze skulshaver aangeschaft op aanraden van 2 “kale” collega’s en na eerste gebruik moet ik zeggen dat het effect tot gladscheren zeer goed is. Voor nu ben ik tevreden maar vraag me af hoe scherp de messen blijven?

Well worth the buy, It's easy to clean and makes shaving quick and easy. The only thing you should beware of is not letting your hair grow too much. If the hairs get too long, it struggles a lot with cutting them. I just have a quick shave every night or second night to avoid this.
