The below problems are what I have discovered so far, but not finish testing yet.Wrong instruction sheet is included.The included 3/8 to 1/4 screw does not fit the base rotator. I have to use my own.The rotator wiggles a little unless all its knobs are tightened/locked.The vertical bar wiggles, even its knob is strongly tightened. Therefore, I am not sure if it is exactly 90degree perpendicular to the horizontal rail. A clamp style bar would be stiffer and have less flexing.The nodal slide is not long enough for long lenses usage.The included camera plate might not fit larger cameras.With these issues, I have not tested enough to see if the stiching software (HUGIN, MS ICE) can tolerate.

4.5 stars - Great for multi-row panoramas, even with lenses up to 135mm, due to its short 5 degree detents for the vertical axis. However, it's not perfect. There are a few things that you should buy to make this panorama head better/complete:* 38mm Arca Style Clamp for fast camera mounting* Arca L-Bracket for your Camera*Arca rail stop bars* Tripod Leveling Base (Optional)I highly recommend using this panorama head with the addition of a 38mm Arca Style Clamp to act as a quick release for your camera, coupled with an Arca compatible L-bracket for your camera. Without it, it's necessary to unscrew a fairly long thread thumbscrew to mount the camera. Addition of an Arca clamp also makes it possible to mount properly in landscape mode when using an L bracket. The previous reviewer that had trouble mounting to his a77II could have mitigated the issue with an Arca L-bracket.Using some stop bars like the Desmond DISB bars will allow you to retain marks for your camera mounting for no-parallax-points in both axes.Lastly, a proper leveling base upon which to mount the CR-3015 head is optional, but nice for fine tune leveling. If you don't want to invest in a leveling base, just mount the pano head directly to your ballhead and level with the ballhead before shooting.This is one of the only panorama heads that has positive detent clicks for both horizontal and vertical axes and with multiple angle degree options... all for less than $250.

we used the product for interiors. However, there was a pin locking pieces into place that was 1 mm too long so there wasn't a good fit. We filed it off and it was fine, which was easier than a return. With that repair the product was very sturdy even with a heavy camera and lens.

Sony A77 II (Camera Plate Adapter not large enough). If your camera has a rear screen (common) measure the width to verify it will still support the Camera Plate which is proprietary to this model.Otherwise looks strong and well made.

It's very sturdy and solidly machined, I'd give it 4.5 stars. My only complaint is that the upper arm has marks where you set the nodal point, there aren't any numbers.

The upper rail incorporates a proprietary plate for attachment to the camera base. Does not support landscape orientation of a camera with an Arca type L bracket.While I understand that for most panoramas, portrait orientation is preferable, multi-row landscape can also be useful. Also, determining the no-parallax point for each lens is somewhat easier in landscape orientation. I am upgrading my previous rating to 3 stars, as to be fair, the tool is pretty well built.
