Helped me feel great soon after delivery
After hours of research on postpartum belly bands, I decided to purchase this one and am overall pleased with my purchase. I wanted something that would provide back support and aid in helping me feel less sore after my second delivery. This did not disappoint. I recovered so much quicker using this than I had 1st time around, and I had no back issues. Plus, it helped me shrink and wear many of my postpartum close less than 2 weeks after delivery. I wore almost nonstop from Day 2 after delivery until 2 weeks postpartum. I stopped wearing it because I felt great, the Velcro was on the end (i couldn’t make it tighter), and it was bulky under a lot of my summer clothes. My biggest complaint was that the Velcro didn’t always sit still which could be a bit uncomfortable when sitting, but I saw that as a minor issue. For those wonder about sizing, I was a size 4-6 pre-pregnancy, 135 pounds, and I gained 25 pounds in pregnancy. Though it was tight (as it should be) I had no issues fitting into the MamaStrut after delivery. I ordered a Medium.

Poor sizing
Received the measuring tape, used it correctly might I add. Received my mama strut, I was so excited to try it and use it post partum and try as I might even almost back at my prepregnancy weight I still dont fit in the shorts. Very disappointed and doubtful i could return them after trying them on in the hospital. Very disappointed in this expensive product I paid out of pocket for. It is well made but wish the sizing had been more appropriate even with the mama strut measuring tape they sent.

Thought it would be better
Had high hopes for this. The legs kept rolling up. The Velcro would scratch and irritate my belly. And the most painful of all was the perineum support straps! Ugh, It didn’t hurt right away so I wore it to the baby’s 2 day old check up and by the time I got home my downstairs was throbbing. Although there is an option to not wear the perineum support I found other issues with it. Another thing I disliked was the fact that you have to rip off the velcro every time you need to use the bathroom (which is a lot being postpartum) and everyone within an ear shot can hear you. I like the concept of it but it didn’t work for me. Just plain undies and a girdle was better for me 🤷🏻♀️

Csection support
Wish it was cheaper . More comfortable then the ones the hospital provided

WORTH EVERY PENNY
Post - partum recovery must have. I bought this after my hips and low back were killing me after giving birth. I was having a tough time getting up out of bed or out of a chair without assistance due to my back pain and weak hips. The day that I got this i put it on and i was able to walk around all day with no problem. it provided support until my muscle went back to where I needed them. New Mamas... you need this.

Not terrible but not worth it
Honestly wouldn’t bother with the money next time. Would most likely be more important for a cesarean. It was nice for a couple days starting in the hospital but after that, not really. It got really uncomfortable for nursing the baby, as it is so stiff and the top would be poking her as I held her. Was also somewhat difficult to move in, like bending. It fit well and was nice for a bit, but too expensive for me to feel good about that. Didn’t seem to help me as much as wearing my regular shapewear panties after the first week. Those aren’t spanx, easier to pull up than that. Much preferred for easier time recovering. The ice packs seemed to have such a short life and honestly did not like the hassle.

I am 4 weeks post-partum and able to fit in the loosest of my pre-pregnancy pants already. I credit some of this to Mama Strut. I didn't wear this until I got home from the hospital, but I went from looking 6 months pregnant to 3 months pregnant within a week once I started to wear this. I didn't realize when I purchased this how much I would appreciate the perineal support straps. I wasn't ready to use them initially but after a few days, I felt like I needed some added support and started to use them. What a difference it made for me! The only thing that I don't like about the Mama Strut is the bottom part which is sort of like biker shorts. It stretches out and rolls up which means you have to wear loose fitting pants for this to go unnoticed beneath pants. Otherwise, this is on my must-have list for new moms.

A must have for every new mom
Mama Strut has helped so many of my clients! As an educator and doula my clients look to me to help find real solutions to their problems. My clients have suffered from general pelvic pain, perineum pain because of tears and/or swelling, and prolapse. The Mama Strut Postpartum Support fits comfortable under clothes, gives my clients relief with the compression therapy and they love the cold packs! Thank you Mama Strut for this product!!

Would be better if you can remove the shorts
Would be better if you can remove the shorts. The shorts restricts the positioning of the binder and would often ride up my butt, which is quite uncomfortable, especially when you're trying to take care of a newborn.I had a c-section and often felt like the binder would rub up against my incision. I hadn't planned for a c-section but I purchased the Mama Strut before going into hospital and since it claimed to be suitable for use after both c-section and vaginal birth, I figured it would a safe choice.Knowing what i know now, I wouldn't purchase this again. I'm only 5 foot tall so I can't imagine it being comfortable for taller women.

Great product
Loved it! It was the perfect size and the ice packs were helpful! The only con was you can really see it under clothes - the waist part was not as smooth as I would have liked. Overall though great product and it really supports my back! It came with a nice handwritten card too which I loved!

Amazing Product - A Must Have
This product is amazing. It was perfect support for my back that I needed for the first few days. The ice packs were great to sit on to help with the swelling. The straps that pass under helped with the severe pain I had down there by "holding me up" which I required for 5 weeks. It was completely worth the money, I could not have done it without the Mama Strut. Can't wait to use it for future pregnancies.

I like it at first but I wish the underwear is separate, it's kinda hard to use the washroom if you have to take the whole thing every time esp if you have to go every hr. Lol

Every mom should buy this
Used for my second child. Wish I had it for my first! I was walking normally the next day and the perineal support was more effective than Tylenol 3's for pain

Very practical to wear around the house, I wouldn't go out with it. I haven't used the inserts, didn't really have time to cool or warm them with so much time breastfeeding the first week. But I found the attached shorts very convenient.
