I usually get the vanilla and was hesitant to try the chocolate. I will use it in shakes, in coffee, on its own either almond milk, and it always tastes great. You can taste some of the coconut, but itโs ever so slight and not at all dominant. I like the healthy dose of fats included, since I never seem to get enough. Itโs slightly sweet (like cuts the bitterness of coffee) without being overwhelming and with no added sugar. It blends smoothly in cold and hot liquids, without a lot of stirring or shaking required. Itโs not at all gritty like some powders Iโve tried. Iโm a big fan!!

I've tried many protein shakes over the past 15 years and this is by far my favorite! I mix it in my Vitamix with water on low for a minute to get the powder fully dissolved. Then I add some ice and turn it on high. It truly is creamy and delicious. Two caveats: I love coconut and this does have a coconut flavor, so that is a plus for me, might not be for everyone. I use stevia in my coffee, so I don't notice a stevia aftertaste with this. If you don't like coconut or stevia this may not be your favorite. So many shakes I have tried need milk to make it good, not this one! Very creamy when blended in vitamix. Many I've tried are gritty to varying degrees. As I mixed it, it is not even remotely gritty or lumpy. When I'm on the go I've also used a blender bottle with the metal whisk ball in it. That does a good job too. Many shakes leave me hungry after an hour or two, but in all fairness they are fat free or very low fat. The coconut milk fat in this sustains me until lunch. This is the only protein shake that I feel is a true treat for me! Highly recommend!

Had my first shake this morning. I mixed 2 scoops with 1 cup of almond milk, 10 coffee ice cubes and 1-2 inch piece of frozen banana. The shake was very filling- no obtrusive after taste and a super whipped creamy texture-- with the other ingredients added in it. I also tasted the product with just unsweetened almond milk and the primal fuel-- it also tasted very good--but felt a bit on the light side/texture wise. I mixed it in the blender. I've been doing a lot of fruit smoothies but wanted to cut down on the sugar factor so I thought I'd try this product. $6+ product at Jamba--- versus $2.10/2 scoop serving of this with $.75/serving almond milk, piece of banana $.50... approx total $3.50 for the meal. Pretty good trade off. Hopefully it will give me the energy I need to get me through most of my day.
