Siless 80 mil (2mm) Car Sound Deadening mat - Butyl Automotive Sound Deadening
Received order, easy install, smaller than expected (2 boxes of small squares total 10 each box) Good product expensive.

Good product.
I used this on the inside cab of my UTV and it did a great job of eliminating most of the squeaks and rattles associated with trail riding. It also helped with some of the heat and engine noise.

Perfect to deaden your kitchen sink
I did a kitchen counter top remodel and saved the old sink. However the old sink had pads on it that were deteriorating. The pads line the bottom and sides of the sink (on the underside of the sink, obviously). I had some foam onhand that seemed similar, and glued it on, but it did nearly nothing to quiet the sink. Water would hit it and it would sound "tinny", even though it's a pretty heavy gauge. After doing a little research I found that I needed to get some heavier foam, and found this. I bought the smallest pack, took the old pads off, and cut these to size. Halleluiah! It worked great! I used about 3 total pieces, cutting some in half (very easy to cut by the way) and the sink is dead quiet.

Good product!
I found it to be a nice insulation for under the hood on a classic car. It's thin and has adhesive on the back covered with paper. Before removing the paper, mold it to the shape of what you're covering and cut to size. Once the paper is off it's like working with fly paper. Very sticky.
