High-Polyphenol Olive Oil
I really enjoyed the robust flavor of this olive oil itโs exactly what I look for in a high-polyphenol product. The oil itself is excellent. It has a bold taste that clearly reflects its very high polyphenol content. It contains a strong mix of beneficial compounds, including oleocanthal, oleuropein derivatives, and hydroxytyrosol, which contribute to its antioxidant strength and overall quality. My only real issue is the bottle design. The flow restrictor makes it slow to pour it can take time to get a teaspoon out. I reached out to the company; they responded immediately. I tried their suggestion of tapping the bottle before pouring, but unfortunately that didnโt help. Overall though, the oil itself is outstanding in flavor, freshness, and quality. I would definitely buy it again this is my olive oil of choice. I just hope the packaging will be improved for my next purchase, because the product inside is excellent.

High polyphenol
Excellent! Smooth in the mouth and depth in flavor and smell. A little bitterness with the high polyphenol burn in your throat. Loved it.Worth the cost.

1 of the healthiest brands/varieties 4 drinking straight -but the necessary bite isn't MY cup of tea
i'm new to connoissuer olive oil for health (highest polyphenal count versions, strictly for drinking/drizzling --never cooking (heat destroys the beneficial polyphenol), because the pricing is between $2.50 and $13 per ounce). so apparently the two broadest categories span the bitterest (in general, the more bitter & peppery, the higher the polyphenol/health benefit), to the sweetest (fruitier, sweeter --but less health bang for the buck). so one direction is more about health and the other direction is more concerned with taste. this brand is my first experience of the upper end of the health range, with one of the highest polyphenol counts (> 1500mg/kg) available. so now i've learnd that i should focus more on taste, and less on maximizing concentrated health benefi (even the sweetest, mildest evoo with measurable polyphenol levels, will have a much higher level [approx. 350-600mg/kg) than ordinary commercial olive oil (which won't usually even list the p.p. level (which will generally be < 250mg). it's apparently all about freshness, olive type and quality (depends on location and knowlegeableness), and earliest harvest (olives harvested the moment they first hit ripeness, then correctly (cold-)processed/packaged within the first few subsequest hours after harvest. in other words, it's a whole other world --like getting into fine wines. proven, independent testing is also a desireable factor, as with all high end/high priced merchandise, fraud and misepresentation are inherently rampant (much like the arena of genuine fine art, of genuine high fashion, etc. --i.e., more well-done counterfeits than real works). so this brand has one of the highest p.p. counts out there, but it took only one taste for me to realize that this bitter category isn't for me (i.e., not to my liking). i have aonther competeing brand in this category coming in a few days, but i can already predict that i won't like it. i also have a lower-priced bottle of the sweeter kind coming (made and ordered for cooking), so that will give me some comparison basis. you can buy higher-priced sweet varieties (meant for drinking/drizzling and not for cooking/baking), so now i know that those will be the last phase of my personal taste test. but i'm not gonna penalize this brand, just because i'm a complete neophyte and on a steep learning curve. just because the p.p. count is one of the highest on the planet (which doesn't happen by accident), i'm gonna go with maximum rating --even though i won't be re-ordering. now i know. :) and i'll be learning a whole lot more, over time.

Good for Sustained Robust Mediterranean Health Benefits
This is one of the best extra virgin olive oils (EVOO) from the WellEatable line. This bottle is from the 2025/2026 harvest with production date of October 2025 and analyzed in Jan 2026. Its "Best if used by" date is Jan 31, 2028. Its made from Coratina olives in the Puglia region of Italy. It is considered ultra-high phenolic olive oil with 1555 mg/kg total polyphenols analyzed by NMR analysis, as per its Certificate of Analysis (CoA), which any good EVOO should have. It is high in tyrosol & hydroxytyrosol derivatives for sustained health benefits like anti-inflammatory, cardio-protective, and potential neuro-protective benefits. As such, I only take it as a daily "wellness shot" and never cook with it. The price point of ~$60 for 16.9 FL oz bottle makes it affordable for regular consumption. Taking the recommended 1 Tbl/day will last a month. High phenolic olive oil is time-dependent. It degrades over time in the bottle or immediately upon cooking with it. This bottle was very fresh at only 3 months old when I purchased it and will last 2 years while retaining most of the high polyphenol content if stored in dry cool place out of sunlight. I like the controlled pouring cap the bottle has which can come out in drops or stream. I'm looking forward to what they have to offer for the 2026/2027 harvest.

Good luck getting it open
Powerful oil. Strong with a little bitter edge. Taste like freshly mowed grass. Subtracted one star ๐ because it was almost impossible to open. The pouring ring in the opening under the cap was sealed with no visible way to open it so I ended up taking it out and put a cork in the bottle.
