Similar to Taki's but not exactly the same
My son is obsessed with Taki's so I thought that we'd tried these. He switched to this brand with no issues and love these just as much. For me I noticed that this brand's rolled tortilla's are way more uniform in both shape as well as coating of spice powder. I personally like it when there are pieces of Taki's with more spice powder on one or another. As to taste these seem to have very similar flavor profile in terms of acidity and spice but with just a little less spice so they don't taste as hot. Overall though there is so little difference that if we were to refill our pantry for these spicy rolled tortilla snacks, we would probably look at the price and choose the brand that was cheaper. very crunchy, good fresh corn flavor, nicely seasoned
This is my first experience with this type of rolled up corn snack (I've never had Takis) and it was a pleasant one. The seasoning on these is complex with a lot of savory notes (especially from the tomato powder and garlic) and a citrus kick from the lime which hits at the end. The lime really balances out all of the savory flavors beautifully and the toasted corn flavor was strong enough to come through the spices. The heat is on the milder side. It's present, but not so bad that your mouth is on fire and there isn't a huge build-up over time unless you're gobbling them down without pause. The saltiness level is on point. Mine arrived in good condition in a huge plastic bag inside of a box. None of them were damaged. They were fresh and very crunchy. This was a really satisfying snack in terms of both texture and flavor.

Packed with flavor!
I ordered these chips and couldn't wait to get them! They finally arrived a couple hours ago and I tried them right away. Plantain chips are thicker and harder than most chips, so often taste very plain and bland to me. Luckily this was NOT the case with these. They are VERY flavorful and tasty and come in quite a large bag. I would highly suggest ordering these if you are a fan of chili and lemon as I have nothing but good things to say about these as I am sitting here thoroughly enjoying and chomping away on them!
