I live in Colorado so cannabis is legal here, so that's what I use these cubes for. Well, they are actually more conical in shape but they fit in square germination / cloning trays perfectly as well. I've bought these from the beginning of my germ / clone cycles and they work perfectly. Unlike rock-wool cubes that are irritating to the skin, you can handle these for hours and never experience an irritation to the skin. They are as soft as a wet sponge, hold plenty of water, and have tons of air space for excellent root growth.I know this sounds like hype, but I've used over 300 of these cubes, and I have had 100% germination / cloning rate. I use a heat pad under my 50 cube germ / clone tray, and put about a gram of root solution in a gallon of water and fill the tray. Then I spray the clones with a folier spray, put the 7 inch hood on the tray, and let it go. If using seeds, keep them in the dark until they sprout, or if cloning then keep a low watt grow light over the clones 24/7 until you see roots starting to come out of the cube. Then either veg your plants for a bit, or move them directly to flower mode for SOG(sea of green). All of this can be googled and you too can grow great plants, or just e-mail me and I'll help you out.Either way I clone all my mother plants for twice the numbers I need, then I pick the best growing plants to keep, and sell my excess to friends and family. I've never had a plant not seed, or clone properly, so I will continue to use this product.And don't get me wrong, even though the majority of my grows are cannabis plants, I also grow tomatoes, peppers, peas, cucumbers, basil, cilantro, parsley, lettuce, and a few other garden salad type plants in these cubes too. I run a DWC (deep water culture) type of hydroponics, typically known as RDWC and bubble ponics. It's basically a top fed DWC and I can attest to shaving off about 2 to 3 weeks of growing time from seedling to harvest. Or clone to harvest is even a bit quicker. Just keep a mother plant or two around to take cuttings from and you'll never have to buy seeds again, and you can make your own seeds if you want.Either way, a great product, highly recommended, and I will be buying these for a long time!!!

Root Riot Bag of 100 are great! They are moist and do not seem to dry out as quickly as other brands I have purchased before. I have had terrific results with these. They do not fall apart and are sturdier than others on the market. I start my seeds in these and have transplanted cuttings using rooting hormone and it works well for me. I really like this brand and will continue to purchase these. Price point not too bad either. Highly recommend.

I've always had success with these. Each time I planted just 1 seed in a plug, it would sprout within a few days. You do have to keep it moist and check it every day though. To slow down the dry-out time, use a germination tray with a clear cover and spray it with water to keep things humid. These plugs have a premade hole to stuff a seed in and it holds together tightly. Transplanting is super simple and these have been my go-to for all my plants and veggies.

Came as advertised. So far they haven’t worked to root my red birds, but I have hopes

these cubes are easy to use and have a very high success rate. they are shipped in a bag with moisture in it and need to stay moist. if they dry up they are really never the same and I have little success using them after that point even with a full soaking. I recommend using a cloning or rooting agent on cuttings, no need if using seeds. keep the cubes in a moist environment afterwards for a couple of weeks, misting at least once a day and leaving some water in the bottom of the trays. I find that a heating mat under the whole arrangement seems to help them propagate, especially if you are in colder climates. I also have better luck running a light and keeping them indoors, it helps to avoid temp swings.

As expected. Great pods for my Lettuce Grow.

I tried another sponge type product that worked ok but the shape was odd… these are much better and fit into my Lettuce Grow farm stand perfectly!
