It's the best!
This is the best Worcestershire sauce around. I hate when it comes in those tiny little bottles, it seems I go through those so quickly and they're like $8 a piece at the grocery store. This giant behemoth is great and will last a long while. Keep it stored in a dark cool place and the flavor will only intensify. If I had one negative it would be that this bottle is big and unwieldy. I think I might buy one of the little bottles one more time and then refill it with this. There were lots of comments about the flavor and I am pretty particular about this and haven't noticed any difference. It does seem it may be a bit more watery texture-wise, but not in taste. Ex: It doesn't TASTE watery it just has less thick of a texture as it usually has in the tiny bottles. As someone mentioned, if you shake it before use, which you are supposed to do anyway, this makes it a little thicker. I love this on pork chops, hamburgers, I add a touch to pan sauces, and sometimes I even use a bit in salad dressings. Tastes great!

Best supermarket Worcestershire sauce this homebody American has tasted, and bonus, in bulk!
I'm not worldly to say the least, and while fans of travel have advised there are far better purveyors of Worcestershire sauce out there, the best I've tried of the market variety so far as been Lea and Perrins. Brands like Crystal or French's or Heinz just don't quite have the zing this brand does, the strong, pleasantly tart tamarind along with the vinegar's sour and the degree of anchovy for umami. I was pleased to see that the sauce is reasonably shelf stable, and can be kept in its packaging on a cool air-conditioned shelf indefinitely. Mainly I use it to season a lovely steak or in a bloody mary, but also a dash here and there in chili or with eggs is nice. I have a handy squirt bottle I keep in the fridge and top off from the large bottle as needed and that arrangement works nicely.

The original L&P in economical bulk jug. The only Worcestershire sauce, all others are imitations
I use Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce sufficiently regularly to be considered a bulk user. This is merely the best way to enjoy it in the most cost effective way. It is much cheaper per ounce than even the largest glass bottles. I keep a large and smaller bottle which I wash and refill by popping off the plastic dispenser caps (do not discard) then refilling from the gallon container. Even open the gallon will last a year without refrigeration. As long as it's tightly capped it's highly resistant to spoilage due to the salt and vinegar content. The umami flavour is superior to any other "Worcestershire-like" sauces. I have yet to find a competitor to even come close.

A Better Worchestershire Sauce
This is an excellent Worcestershire sauce with minimal ingredients. More important, unlike some of its major competitors, it has NO high fructose corn syrup, dangerous for those with hypertension and/or blood sugar. In Virgin (and Bloody) Marys, this ingredient is critical. I drink so many Virgin Marys, in lieu of alcohol, I go through 1/2 gallon every few weeks. This is the most economical way for me to buy the product.
