Great for oral surgery recovery
I was hesitant to buy this after some reviews about it not getting hot enough. This thing got me through my wisdom teeth extraction. I had a tooth lodge sideways in my jar and recovery was awful. I needed heat therapy and this thing was amazing. It has a low, med, high, temp setting on it and a timer as well. Yes it might not be hot to touch but if you’re wearing it and remove it you can definitely tell the heat was there. I would recommend it to anyone have dental work.

Surprisingly Amazing for Wisdom Teeth Recovery!
Okay, I’ll be honest—I wasn’t sure if a heating pad for my jaw was really necessary when I got my wisdom teeth out, but I am SO glad I had it. This little lifesaver made my recovery way smoother than I ever expected. I barely had any pain the whole time, and I healed within a week! From the moment I started using it, I could tell it was making a difference. The gentle heat felt amazing and helped reduce that stiff, achy feeling in my jaw. Plus, it kept the swelling down, which I think sped up my healing process. I never had that awful throbbing pain that people always warn you about—I was just chilling, super comfortable, and healing like a champ. What I also loved was how comfortable and easy it was to use. It wraps perfectly around your face and stays in place, so I wasn’t stuck awkwardly holding an ice pack to my jaw for hours. I could just sit back, relax, and let the heat do its thing while I binged Netflix. Is it technically necessary for wisdom teeth removal? Probably not. But did it make my recovery way easier, more comfortable, and (I swear) faster? Absolutely. If you’re about to get your wisdom teeth out, do yourself a favor and get one of these. You won’t regret it!

Does the job
I’ve been using this for a while now for my TMD. My muscles are my biggest issue causing this disorder. It heats nicely and feels comfortable. My 2 complaints is I wish it was chargeable instead of needing to be plugged in because I’m stuck in one place. The second is I wish the heat went higher up on the straps . I am still using this until I find something better. It definitely does the job

Overall, solid purchase.
Overall, I’m very pleased with this product. It does what it intends and is easy to use. My only complaint is that it doesn’t get hot enough, but that’s probably for safety reasons. Definitely helps my neck and jaw pain.

Barely gets warm – disappointing for post-wisdom teeth recovery
I bought this Comfytemp Face Heating Pad hoping it would help with jaw pain and stiffness after wisdom teeth removal. The design is comfortable and it fits well around the chin and jaw, which is nice. The controls are straightforward with 3 heat settings and a timer. However, even on the highest setting it barely gets warm. It feels more like a gentle lukewarm compress than actual therapeutic heat. For TMJ or mild discomfort it might be okay, but for real post-surgical swelling and soreness, it’s not strong enough. USB-powered heaters like this often have heat limitations, but I expected more based on the description. If you’re looking for noticeable heat relief after dental surgery, I’d recommend a traditional plug-in heating pad.
