TIPS for easier assembling. Would buy this again
Before assembling, read the reviews for tips. Doing that could save a lot of time and frustration. First take everything out of the box and keep the pieces in their numbered bags. Also make sure all of the pieces are there. The company has made this easy for you. They also included 2 tools for tightening the screws and a disposable glove to help keep your hand clean when inserting the oiled screws. Next, study the instructions for each step to make sure you have the correct pieces and they are facing the correct direction. TIPS - A few tips in the reviews helped me. The first had to do with step 2 and pieces 3 & 4. The holes with the ring around them have to be on the same side , as those are the holes where you attach the trellis. The instructions are not clear about that. And, since it is early in the assembly process, it will be a pain to correct later when the stand is near completion. Also, take your time, and don’t tighten the screws all the way until the assembly is done. Another tip was for when you add the long horizontal bars. It works better if you lay the partially assembled frame on a flat surface with the side with the trellis on the bottom. A tip from me is that it is so much easier with 2 people putting it together. The assembly isn’t hard, but working with the long pieces by yourself can be awkward. Another tip is to watch the directions the bars are facing when tightening the screws as the bars will twist. And the last tip is about the screws and screw holes. They are well made but not perfect. We found out that if a screw got stuck half way into a hole, we just took it out and tried another. It may have took trying 2-3 other screws before we found one that worked. Eventually all of them worked somewhere. This is pretty well made but the boxes are cheaper. But overall it is well worth the price. And I definitely recommend it. It is exactly as advertised and perfect for what I wanted. I plan to plant scented herbs that bees and wasps don’t like on the bottom rack, so I can sit on my porch without their annoying me. For the top area I plan to grow my favorite pretty and scented flowers that the deer always eat. Hopefully, since it will stand behind my 2 porch chairs and a little table on an outdoor rug in front of a picture window, the deer won’t venture that close to humanity. And the flowers will be safe, and look pretty on the porch. If it works, that should help solve the hungry deer and annoying bugs problem. Wish me luck.

Perfect for areas with limited space
Great little planters when your space is limited. Each one is 32" tall and 7.2" wide and each of the four planter boxes are 7" wide by 16.8" long. This is perfect for putting along a fence line or patio/deck railing. The trellis on the lower level is securely attached and can be used for climbing plants or vegetables. It's very sturdy and goes together easily. The planters aren't terribly deep at 5.5", so it won't work with things that need to be deeply rooted, but is perfect for most flowers or some vegetables. This is a great planter option for a small herb garden. The planters all have drain holes with a base, so water that seeps out is caught. The bases can be easily removed or just not put on in the first place if you want them able to free-drain. The planters hang on the sides of the rails with a bar underneath for support, so there's no chance of them falling through the frame.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I purchased this item because I recently moved to a new apartment with a wrap around balcony (exciting!) and was looking forward to growing some flowers and vegetables. The item was easy to assemble, but I do wish the instructions had more detail. It is easiest to screw all the poles to one of the sides and then lay that side flat on the ground and secure the poles to the other side (like how IKEA would have you build things). Once built, it is incredibly sturdy. The feet you can add on the bottom are a lifesaver because the bottom was uneven. All you do is twist the little feet and it adjusts the height to fix the problem: no more wobbly!! I was worried it would get blown away (corner apartments tend to get a lot of wind). With the dirt and plants added in, I can assure it is not going anywhere. I added zip ties towards the bottom just in case. My favorite thing is how easy it is to use. If I need to add dirt or work on a plant, I just pick the pot out of the holder to work instead of dragging everything to the holder. This makes it easy to move because I can easily take the plants off before moving the frame. So far, I have not had issues with drainage and I water these outside every day. I water until the tray at the bottom is full and it keeps the plants moist all day. I set up two and so far they are doing well, excited to add more plants soon. Another thing to note is the height of the planter! I can easily see the top row while sitting in my living room and it adds some depth to my view outside. I like how it isn’t TOO tall where I feel the plants could fly off the balcony. Considering buying more of these for the other side of my balcony. Glad I purchased.

Herb garden
This is so cute and perfect for my little herb garden. I like that you can move it around so if it gets too hot I can put it in the shade. It has been pretty durable, although there is a little bit of rusting on the screws, but it's not a big deal to me. The pots seem to drain well and my herb garden is happy so far! Easy to put together as well.

Serves its purpose
Serves its purpose; there was just a strong plastic smell when I received it. But it seems to be a decent quality. The size is perfect for a small patio garden.

Plastic planters warp after 3 months, rust developing on support points.
Easy but tedious to put three of these together but they looked nice when completed. I got these 3 months ago for the San Diego area, they're left in the sun half the day and the top of the black plastic planters are bending away from the top metal supports and some of the bolts are starting to rust around the screw holes. This after 3 months! It's a shame, I'm hoping that they don't get worse as time goes by.

Good value, and a fairly easy build
I'm a 75 year old woman with arthritis, and I put this together myself. Pay close attention to the pictures and the numbered pieces. So, far, this is working well, has my baby herbs and greens, and I would by another, if I had the funds.

Good quality but a lot of parts to assemble
I absolutely love this raised garden bed so much so I bought a second one. The only issue I have is it’s a lot of parts to assemble. However, it’s good quality.
