The finish is luminous and reflective without turning into a chunky glitter situation, which is something a lot of budget highlighters struggle with. The color shift effect is subtle but really pretty. When the light hits it you can see the shift, which gives it that multidimensional glow that reminds me of much more expensive highlighters and even some high-end shimmer eyeshadows. What really stood out to me is how well this shows up on different skin tones. On deeper complexions especially, the glow looks stunning instead of ashy, which is something that can happen with lighter highlighters. At this point they’re absolutely competing with brands that cost a lot more.
