Lowrance HDS Pro Fish Finder, available with and without transducer

As an avid angler, I recently had the pleasure of testing out the Lowrance HDS PRO 10 fish finder, and let me tell you, this gadget is a game-changer. If fish had a "hide and seek" championship, they'd be in serious trouble with this device around! Setup and Installation: Setting up the HDS PRO 10 was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and the installation process was straightforward. Even if you're not particularly tech-savvy, you'll find it easy to get this fish finder up and running. Just make sure you don't get too excited and accidentally install it upside down – trust me, the fish won't be swimming in the sky! Display and Interface: The 10-inch display is bright and clear, even in direct sunlight. The touchscreen interface is responsive and intuitive, making it easy to navigate through the various features. It's like having a mini aquarium on your boat, but without the need to feed the fish. Performance and Features: The HDS PRO 10 comes packed with features that will make any angler's heart skip a beat. The CHIRP sonar provides incredibly detailed images of the underwater world, and the StructureScan 3D gives you a 3D view of the fish and structures below. Okay, LOVE THIS THING! Overall, this is an outstanding value for the money. When I compared it to other manufacturers with similar offerings, this unit offered more options for a slightly lower price. The one negative is that the manuals are very vague, especially the installation manual. I watched some YouTube videos to learn how to install it. I am using it on a fishing Kayak, and the screen size is perfect. I have used it twice now, and the picture quality is excellent. I also love having the ability to run the sonar sidescan and downscan screens simultaneously. I am really pleased with the layout and function overall. Even though I am still learning, it has been very easy to set up and use. It was nice to get on the fish and catch them, then paddle around beating dead water, not knowing if there were any fish there... I still have a lot to learn to use it to its maximum, but right out of the box, "after figuring out how to install it," it has been a dream! I love the ability to expand and add Active Target. Even just the 3 -1 is outstanding!

User freindly user interface, and works as intended. This is not our first or only lowrance unit in this system. It is the main unit over Active target 2, ghost trolling motor and and elite fs12. We do use a c maps card for fishing and navionics for navigation. Primary target species is crappie, stumps and brushpiles.

These are so much easier to use than their old units. I used to be a huge Garmin fan but now I'm equally on board with lowrance. The boat I bought had all lowrance so in order to maintain communications I bought these. I was a bit nervous because I did not like the lcx-113 interfaces. When I powered these up they were so much easier to use and the nmea-2k network worked like a charm.
